that friend juyeon is a bitch kind. she set apart both sisters and hosu too
Kdramas always need a scapegoat to blame bad writing on. This whole idea of a decade old misunderstanding that can be resolved in 1 conversation is unbearable, childish

or younger brother. but I definitely feel he is connected to the senior in some way.
When the office workers were gossiping about her they said she should stay away from married men so he must be married? I havent seen anyone mention this

He's so dumb 😂There are many people like him in real life who are very smart, but when it comes to emotional…
No this doesn’t make sense here cause they literally established themselves he could tell them apart, make mi rae emphasise he might tell them apart, only for it to become irrelevant and fall for the scheme like anyone else. It’s annoying and bad writing and they‘ll milk this forever but it’s gonna be so boring by then since it already is and the payoff wont feel rewarding. Watch next episode them resolving the cliffhanger today with „uhh I meant thats what mi ji might say hahah“ or „drunken memory“ or sth

Am I the only one that’s much more immersed in the teen love story than the adult one? I really enjoy park boyoung’s…
Adult romance feels so off because I hate watching „oh let’s continue our love story after 10y that got stuck to a misunderstanding“ and then also characters pop up and suddenly are interested in one another like the school friend, I mean what were you doing up until now? They simply dont act like adults but kids and I hate it.

I hate these fake teaser reveals that quickly fizzle out as misunderstandings in the next episode. They are probably…
Exactly. I hate when kdramas fall into this tactic where in the beginning the characters seem serious and smart but then regress to being clueless onscreen and you gotta watch it all happen and wait for them to catch on the plot. It makes no sense to establish he could tell them apart only for him to be played like this. They always do this, it’s like they don’t how to write the story if they can’t rely on childish misunderstandings or suspension of disbelief

Am I supposed to be this confused about this? So next episode, her car seems to be the same and she‘s looking for it and finds coincidently the other dead women in her car? Is this also some product placement or a clue/detail you‘re supposed to pay attention to?

Bruh not to be annoying but so unimpressed watching first episode. Wow you made a kid confess a crime, come on, that‘s not a serious opponent. The product placement of Samsung and Bottega eyroll. The scene where she walks into the office after the interogation: there was no reason for her to go in, sit down for few seconds, then say „I‘m going home“, she just walked in cause the scene required it. Then her team talking about her to her like she‘s not there but also as a celebrity, the dynamic/tone is off.
Also how did they let her keep evidence (The Puzzle) from the crime scene after she submitted it to the police lol

Hi guys. Only reply if you feel the same. So, I‘m a huge Kim Da Mi fan, ever since I saw her in The Witch and Itaewon Class, and Yo Ji Seo is one of my favourite characters in Kdramaland. I was checking this out for her only but I‘m getting such an icky feeling of her character (haven‘t finished ep1 yet). It‘s like a fake is trying to play Kim Da Mi playing Yo Ji Seo (her Itaewon Class character) mixed with some Sherlock copying, Idk what they were going for, especially her style and hair and everything is so unappealing, the character feels so eyerolly to me lol WHAT HAPPENED I can‘t stand how she talks or what she says, it‘s like a crazy kid and everyone around her is normal while she is not and she comes off annoying rather than intriguing (The FL in „Doubt“ did this type of character way better)

I am so annoyed that they didn't focus on that storyline more and instead gave us household / guild politics that…
They didn’t mislead anyone, the snow man is not even shown in the trailer and just a plot device in the first 2 episodes, he is an irrelevant aspect of the child trafficking plot, which is the actual mystery. Making the figure/ one of the figures who kidnaps the kids more spooky is just deco.
People came for romance and got that and that was advertised. You might find him more interesting but what can you do, you can not please every single person but those for whom this story was advertised for, got what they wanted. To make the argument some irrelevant side piece was used to trick you into watching is ridiculous lol there was more romance than snow man

Bro the Snow Man was a sth they literally made up for the show, he doesnt exist in the book, it’s just there to introduce the child trafficking plot. Why do ya all latch on to completely irrelevant things lol he’s just a „soldier“ of the villain and not important, why would they focus on some spooky caricature in a story that’s a love story of the leads

The story wouldn‘t make sense without romance, the driving force is not just the mystery but the actions and…
The plot wouldn‘t be the same, you‘re just filling the what-if gaps with your preference. 99.9999% stories out there are all the same, the point is not to create a-never-seen before story but do the story well, and this story was a literary success and highly celebrated so it did its job right for those whom it was intended. There are plenty of stories where a man has a mission and has no romantic plotlines, me saying „man has a mission and infiltrates and has success“ wouldn‘t diminish the enjoyment people get from that story either. You might not enjoy the romance, sure, but it would be a completely different story without the romance and people that liked the story, liked the romance in it.

The story wouldn‘t make sense without romance, the driving force is not just the mystery but the actions and motives of the characters and their fates. Romance plays an important role in why a story/character is driven

I can‘t explain it to anyone who didn‘t enjoy it, you just gotta feel it and if you don‘t , it can‘t be engineered. There are rare gems out there like these, every now and then I find one like this that resonates with me and gets me

goddamn it, why the fuck, goddamn it, I always read the fucking reviews and comments to avoid a shitty sad ending,…
I used to be like this but by now my absolute favorite 3 pieces in fiction all have tragic endings. I accepted that if a story could make me get intensinely invested enough in it and reach a certain place in my heart, I don‘t mind the sad ending, especially since other stories that have a happy ending but don‘t hit me this deeply can‘t compare.

Dropped by again to proclaim how much I loved this, I feel so happy as someone who hasn’t found sth she enjoyed for such a long time and would drop everything left and right. This was like a cup of tea made just for me. I would really love to read the novel man
