I watched "The Untamed" and then "Word of Honor" before this. I saw this series as a top recommendation when I searched for the other two. At first, i skipped it because i thought episode 1 was not interesting. Hence, i just watched other dramas, after the release of TJOL in which i finished, i found myself really liking the main actor there, (Cheng Yi) it's my first drama with him. After doing some digging, i found out he was the MC here too and with patience, i finally got the interest to continue this series. little did i know, it would be one of my top dramas of all time. This was a huge rollercoaster of emotions; all the actors were top-tier and so were their chemistries with each other. My heart really goes out for LLH on this one and ill forever miss him, alongside FDB and DFS 🥹🥹🥹

in ep 40, the way how they showed Li Lianhua's life after the tragedy really made me cry like a baby. How he slowly changed and let go of the past one by one, how he farmed those vegetables, took care of animals and how he built lotus manor, living alone in peace and quiet... its unforgettable, he has suffered so much T-T

my top series of all time. i miss this so much and im afraid ill always remember this series everyday, not missing even a single one.
