I love Diana Gabaldon, love the Outlander books, but have no interest in the television series. However, if it was a Korean drama, cast as you have outlined, I would watch it! Thank you for doing this. I am a huge history buff, I love Korean history, and1592 would be the perfect period. Thank you again for your efforts, they are appreciated.

This has nothing to do with admiration. You cannot send people to jail for because they lack morals, but you can send people to jail for exposing a person's immorality. As a human being it is your right to loathe and abhor the sin, but it is your duty to protect rights of the sinner. You cannot allow people to violate a person's legal rights. Joo Jin Mo's actions maybe reprehensible and repugnant, but I will not support extortion and the violation of his privacy-that goes FOR ANYONE! A rational and objective person should know the difference. Being a sexist pig is not a crime. Moreover, public figures have rights, and the right to privacy is one of them, and so is the right to not be extorted.

It is not bombing, this show is airing globally, on NetFlix, and I believe everyone will be surprised by ratings once it is complete. My point with the statistics is that a lot of people are watching this show, 16,394 on MDL, and it has not ended; a lot of people are enjoying this show, and I find it quite odd that a show that is this bad has not been dropped by MDL'ers; the drop rate is 2.6 %, and the on-hold percentage is 1.7%. Why does it have as many comments as The Untamed, a show that is universally loved? Normally, on MDL, if a series is disappointing or loathed, there are hardly any comments-not so with this one. I have never seen a series receive so many negative and irrational comments, delivered with such vitriol, not to mention the scathing personal attacks. I question if Russian Bots are trolling The King Eternal Monarch on MDL.

The link below is to the MDL stats page for The King, check the numbers. I question why the drop and on-hold percentages are so low, and why the plan to watch percentage of 42.7% is still this high, if this drama is so awful.

When I am angry or disappointed with a show, I drop it-I do not come to MDL, and rant. I read the book for Legend of Awakening, was excited for the series, as I am a huge Chen Fei Yu supporter, but after the 28th episode, I was done. I even posted about it, but there was no vitriol, I did not attack the actors, writers, directors, etc., as other posting on this forum have done concerning The King.

I had eight of the 22 on my watch list, and added four more because they have some my favorite actors/entertainers in them-Song Wei Long, Xu Kai, Xiao Du , Xiao Zhan, Xing Zhao Lin, Wang Yi Bo, to name a few! I am not looking forward to all of them, but because my favorites are in them, I have to at least watch them. I am hopeful for the release of The Wolf. Thank you for the list.
