Watching Shang Zhitao transform from a vulnerable graduate into a highly adaptive, independent professional is incredibly satisfying, especially alongside a refreshingly flawed, realistic male lead. The plot moves dynamically into a multi-year journey of secret romance and profound emotional recovery. I loved this drama for replacing tiring romance angst with brilliant, laugh-out-loud strategy. Watching the main character hide his immense power and treat survival like high-stakes chess is incredibly addictive and fun.
