Yea, always when talking to the emperor she would look at him with these big eyes, making them pop out in a way. She definitely looked crazy doing it, but the emperor was so caught up in the palace/political schemes that he didn't realise she was so crazy. But he also had a literal hand in making her act like this, the way he often was violent with her.

Consort Rou and her constant overuse of doe eyes...😖 ugh I want to slap her hard. And the emperor is falling for it every. damn. time.

Call me shallow and superficial but Diews hairstyle is horrible... The bleached hair makes him look as pale as a ghost and the cut doesn't do any justice to his bone structure. The hairstylist did him bad. Which is sad because Park looks so cute on his profile picture above. The awful hairstyle plus the stereotypical way Diew as an introvert is written makes it really hard for me to watch this, no matter how much I wanted to see Bigs new series...

Thanks for writing all this down! I have nothing against product placement, because I know that's how they pay for the production of these series. But they went too overboard in this series. I prefer it when it's subtle, like they are using the product without talking too much about it. But they literally incorporated the products into everything and talk about them at length. If they cut out all the scenes talking about some products the series would only have like 4 episodes... it's such a shame.

I have only seen the beginning of ep 1 because of lack of time. But what I have seen so far is good. The production value seems great and the actors are doing a good job! Lune is so relatable and I like that White kind of adopted him. The only thing that ircks me is that Star feels like such a Mary Sue character. She is good in everything, she seems kind and nice and is the top student and is also rich and good looking. It feels like she has it all, no hardships in sight. I hope that her character gets more facettes as the story progresses. I'll keep watching.

I don't try to justify Judy, I just want to clarify: Didn't she say during that episode "I'm not even 30 yet"? So she is not in her 30s, from what I understood she is about the same age as Jane? Or did that get lost in translation?

I'm so sad for MosBank and the whole cast... they deserve a much better script 😞 I'm just skimming through SunLin scenes and only watch SamYo by now. Lin is so childish, I can't stand the whole Khun Dad thing or the whole shallow plot of the supernatural storyline. If you want to go Fantasy either go all out or just leave it. I even skip the nc scenes... what a mess... I cross my fingers, that if MosBank have another series them, their managers and/or their studio picks a better story to tell. 🙏🤞

I'm still on the fence with this series... I wanted to see Bigs new series, since I felt bad for his character in Gen Y, I wanted to see him have a happy ending. I like how he fleshed out the character of God in this series, from what I have seen so far (which is the 2 free episodes on youtube). My problem is with the way the introverted character got fleshed, or in this case did not get fleshed, out. It's still the beginning so anything is still possible, and of course not every person/introvert is the same. But to me it feels like the person who has written the character of Diew is not an introvert themselves or Park is not, and so he does not connect to his character well... or maybe it's just that even though we are both introverts our MBTI aren't the same? There were some instances where I could relate to Diew, but it were things that are traits in most introverts. Most of the time the portrayal feels shallow, though, which could also be because of writing/directing. In some instances I also got the feeling it's not necessarily a trait of an introvert but the result of past trauma (like the bullying incedent) or upbringing. I'm just not sure what to make of this yet... I'll try to keep an open mind and see where this is going to take me...

I'm not even an art major or in any way talented in art (just like looking at/admiring it) but I had the same thoughts as you 😅 I love this series so much it is an absolute comfort series. But the way they handled their art and supplies just seemed unrealistic even for an amateur like me. I love your Idea about asking real students to make artworks for them (with credits!) and using them in the series. I'm sure that would have been amazing.

Does anyone know if this will have a happy ending?
