I just found out about this series, but seriously, a Volleyball BL? That's like every Haikyuu fans wet dream! I'm aware, that this series has nothing to do with haikyuu but volleyball, but that's it, isn't it? I already liked the sport before watching/reading haikyuu but it made me appreciate it even more after doing that. And as a bl shipper I am just so excited at the prospect of getting a whole BL series with volleyball! I hope there are some good game sequences, too! Gonna watch it now.
They only mentioned Mark and Vee once. Had they talked about them 10 more times I would have given it a higher…
Honestly I was about to start this drama, only because comments mentioned that they would talk about Mark and Vee. lol (they are my all time favourite) But if it's just one time, I'm not sure if I want to go through all the effort, because it seems the series itself isn't giving a lot? Do you by chance remember when/which episode they talked about these two? Though I recently rewatch love mechanics and wanted to have some closure about Fuse and Ana and the next day I found out about this series, what a coincidence. So I might give this a try anyway.
At the beginning I was a bit sad, that this wasn't an extra, in the way, that we got to see them on a date or at their first day in university or something like that. But then it was so funny and cute. I liked to see their roles reversed. Gun being a bit more serious and in love from the beginning, trying to get Tinn to fall for him, flirting and all that. And Tinn being silly and a bit oblivious (though I get the feeling he wasn't as oblivious as he made it seem, more like he was also already into Gun since he came into his moms shop first? hahaha). I also really liked Fourths hairstyle here. He looked so handsome (he also looked handsome in the series, but it was more cute/boyish). The moms role reversal was also hilarious. Guns mom as principal rocked. Gemini and Fourth are phenomenal actors, at their age they are already this good, I'm looking forward to seeing them grow even more in projects to come, and I hope there are many. I can't wait for their next series.
Wow. It's nice to see an opinion totally different to mine. For me it was totally the other way. Although in the…
Thank you for your reply π I really loved Pais growth from player to totally being in love with Sky and their way to becoming a couple. But I did not read the novel, so I can't tell if things were missing. Would you recommend their novel? With Payu and Rain, I couldn't get into their story because I'm not a fan of the d/s dynamic in general. Overall all four lead actors did a great job in this series and I am looking forward to more of their projects.
Your comment makes no sense... what exactly is so "incredibly rude" in my comment? That I dropped it because I didn't like Payu and Rain? Sorry to break it to you, but not everyone will always like the things you like. Sounds like a you problem... grow up. Or was it that *in my opinion* Payu and Prapai are red flags? You're free to think they are not. This is totally subjective. But that doesn't change the fact, that they are red flags *to me*. Prapai refuses to accept Skys rejection, more than once, and then he invades his privacy and constantly harrasses him with phone calls and messages, wearing him down till he accepts. Payu is a red flag because his default mode with Rain is "I will punish you" in every 2nd sentence. Rain never knows why exactly he is getting punished for, and neither did I. Payu never discussed boundaries or safewords or any other thing, needed for this kind of relationship, with Rain to make it safe, sane and consensual. So yes, that's a big red flag for me. But I don't kink shame, so go for it, if that gets you off. I just hope you're partner is in fact discussing these important things with you beforehand. And just because you like it, doesn't mean everyone else has to like it. That's the only rude thing I can see here: you.
I just started this and I want to do unimaginable things to Ueas birthperson! (she does not deserve being called mom) Can someone tell me if she gets some kind of punishment/retribution of any kind later on?
I dropped it after a few episodes while it aired, I just couldn't connect with Payu and Rain and their storyline... but now I went back to watch Pai and Skys episodes and they were so good. Way better than the first episodes. Pai is not as much a red flag as Payu for me, he also had his red flag moments in the beginning, but he then became Skys biggest supporter and loved him unconditionally. It was nice to see Pai turn is ways from player to being totally in love with Sky. I also liked to see him accept boundaries, meaning no kissing or anything else while Sky was sick/unconscious/not up for it... I know this sounds ridiculous, but I watched a lot of thai drama (both bl and straight) where this was a trope, so I'm happy everytime someone accepts that that isn't the way to go.
I just love MarcPawin so much! They need another Series to be leads in!! I did miss Chopper and Ben here though π’ But nonetheless these 2 episodes were very entertaining!
Don't know what people don't like about this, I'm loving it so far... π€ maybe it's because I had no high expectations in the first place? It might not be the goat but it's also not as bad as some people on here make it seem. I really like Chimon, Perth is also doing a good job. And my lovely Gear/Gown couple is back, after being demoted to insignificant side characters in recent bls, they finally are a couple again too βΊοΈ
I am 10 episodes in and it's so boring... willthis ever pick up? I really like the leads and was looking forward…
Also can someone give me a spoiler (I went to watch some later episodes to see if it picks up pace any time soon): did the Di family really have to die because the Empress Dowager was jealous of the Di family head? Because she stayed with her husband when he died? Just because of that? Or was there a better reason that was revealed later? But if that was the reason: what a petty b*tch.
I am 10 episodes in and it's so boring... willthis ever pick up? I really like the leads and was looking forward for this drama because of them, but it's so hard to stay focused on it. πͺπ₯±
Hahah I was kind of right with not trusting 2nd ml, he was a villain in their past life! Now I dislike him even more π Todays episode was finally a real good one, having the quality of the first few episodes. I did skip some scenes of their past life, because I can't stand suspense, I needed to get through quickly to see how he survives in their current live π«£ I only was a bit annoyed with fl leaving him again, but I understand why she did it.
Tbh this female lead isnβt new to the blushing Victorian virgin act. Sheβs always mumbling, acting shy and…
I will definitely not look up any of her dramas to watch, I wasn't a fan of her acting. Like you said, she is always mumbling and acting shy, it was annoying. It did actually get better in the last few episodes, they weren't that shy anymore. But that doesn't make up for the other over 30 episodes they do π
My least favourite scene would be the final scenes in Ep. 13 - when SY was calling HJ but she didnβt pick up…
well, she did end up getting choked π What I didn't like besides that, is that they installed this great cctv but did not give her access or notifications if someone's there, when she is the one who needs it the most...
