It's a good drama, if you have nothing else to watch or if you're waiting for an other drama to finish airing, this can fill the time in between. But I have to be honest if it wasn't for Bai Jing Ting and Dr. Shao I would have dropped it already, at the latest after the earthquake arc. Dr. Shao and Keyaos story would have been a great drama on its own too.
The leads are only mature when it's about their job, which is the best part of this drama, but when it's about their relationship/the couple being together they behave like 12 year old school children or blushing victorian virgins... being naive is not a crime but the naivety displayed in this drama, especially from the fl, is just too over the top for their age. Also if you're have frinds like Lu Feng and Xia you don't need enemies, the "relationship advices" they give to the main couple is useless and they don't even follow their own advice themselves. For example main couple just got together and ml comes back from the earthquake site and what advice do they give "don't meet up right away, don't give in to your significant other" or "women shouldn't chase after men" that's so last century. The best character in this drama for me is Dr. Shao he has the same passion for his work as the leads and at the same time is also mature in his interpersonal relationships and is a great mentor.
I got angry at "Shu Wen Bo" more than once for rejecting the girl for no reason, and because it made their progress…
I haven't finished the drama yet, I just begun watching, so maybe (hopefully) she will have more character growth, but I also thought she always brings herself into a bad situation and then needs the ml to help her, like the op described. For example helping the little poisoned girls father by giving him all her savings, so he can pay her treatment. It's noble and everything, but it results in her being homeless because she can't pay her rent anymore. The ml had to make up a whole scheme to have her move into his home. Instead of her looking into alternative fundings or referring the dad to a professional person who can help him with his financial crisis.
This drama started out so good! I was expecting more mystery, more spells more entertaining content... but at the moment it's just dragging and I seriously dislike the 2nd ml... right now the far in between cute moments between the leads and Rowoons beauty are the only thing that keep me going... but still, every week I hope next weeks episodes will be better. So see you again next week π«£π
I can't get over this drama!! I keep thinking about it and want to watch something similar, can someone recommend me something? (Besides the dramas in the Recommendations) π₯Ίπ€
Damn couldn't get past the first 30 minutes... i guess chinese dramas are not for me π€π€
I had to force myself through the first 10 episodes, they were all about her being a high school student and boring as hell for me. There aren't that much significant scenes there, so you can maybe try watching it from ep 11 or 12 onward, that's where it got interesting for me and I really started to be into it. I really loved the second half of this series, because that's where the real romance starts. But if it really isn't your thing then just drop it, I can understand that π
What a beautiful series! I loved all the women and their friendship and how they supported each other, it was so wonderful to watch! I wish there would be more dramas with this kind of friendship between women. Politics played a role but problems were solved quickly so it never bored me. Great feel good drama! I totally recommend it!
Or how EVERYBODY needs proof of everything before they can level an accusation, but when Lil' Cuz strolls in with…
Yea! like where did that come from?? lol Whatever made him think that would be a great idea? He should have told the truth from the beginning, but no, he let Xiangcheng be miserable!

Yeeess! Also when the cousin had his mom announced dead to make him not the biggest shareholder and kick him out... wouldn't he inherit her shares as her only living heir? Then he wouldn't have needed the seal... That made no sense at all!
This is really cute and funny. It might not be something grand or pompous with a twisted or surprising plot but…
I didn't watch the original one completely, but I watched some episodes while waiting for this to finish and it basically is the same storyline. The only differences these 2 dramas have is that 1) original one is just an older production and 2) the male actors look like random dudes picked up on the streets, and their costumes do not help to distinguish them... I had problems to know which one is Tianlei and which one is his servant for example... the only memorable one was the general... About Truth or Dare, I can share that my experience is - as it seems - a totally different one from most commentors: I dropped it around halfway and gave it 1.5 stars only, I can't even remember what it was about or why I dropped it or if there was any memorable actor/actress. But that is how personal preference works. So, as I said in my comment above give it a try if you like something uncomplicated, cute and funny π
1)is there love triangle? if there how much deep it is ?2)when do leads will be together3)is there any breakup?…
1) not really a love triangle, but the 2nd lead couple will have problems with a 3rd party (Queen wants her daughter to marry the general, but princess is just as unwilling and soon finds another partner), so it's not really deep as feelings go, but they will encounter problems because of this. 2) they get together really fast, 1st lead couple in like 2-3 episodes, 2nd lead couple in about 5 3) 2nd lead couple will be physically apart from each other for about 2-3 episodes, because of point 1) but they don't break up. 4) very happy ending
I'm on episode 10 and I have to say the warehouse scene makes no sense! She would have needed to be read into the system to have the passcode and for her irises to be a match, but the original ZX was away for over 10 years! She wouldn't have had any of that already in place. She would have been read into the system once she became the heiress/CEO... There are more things that make no sense, but this was the biggest issue I had in this episode, along with taking an outsider to the super secret warehouse and signing a contract with her without having a legal consult.
only 20 minutes into ep 7 and I'm so done with SML... where is this arrogance coming from? And the uncalled for righteousness? He has no relationship with FL and ML other than being their co-worker and neighbour. He said his piece about two-timing (which is the only thing I agree with him) but now just leave them alone! They can make their own decisions, they are grown adults. What right does he have to meddle in their business? He already rejected FL now he behaves like he has the rights of her boyfriend. He is going too far for a co-worker/neighbour.
