I still can't over the fact that the workplace is so goddamn dark, it was so hard to see things in the cinema where I watched the film. Then I chuckled when Lyra exclaimed, a brownout happened.
ajung and the pregnancy and the hidden boyfriend thing is kinda suspicous like she way too calm abt it and planning…
I felt like writers won't put that in for no apparent reason. In a short series, I feel like they are somehow connected to the big plot. A possibility is that she knows everything or a lot more, and that hidden boyfriend is probably playing on SJB (misplacing key, etc). My suspect is SJB.
My gut feel is Seok Jae Boom did it. 1. He have blackout/memory issue. 2. I find it so odd that he tries to get close with Ok Chan Mi and Ji Soo Heon. There's a saying to keep your enemies closer... 3. They made it a point to put the misplacing key. It's either he has memory issue OR someone knows it and messing with him - and coming after him. 4. Out of all characters presented, he was the least suspiciously choice. - Ji Soo Heon as a culprit, just too easy and definitely a redherring, especially Ok Chan Mi is confronting him in the upcoming episode, no way it ends there. - Gi O Sung and Kook Ji Hyun are too predictably evil - they are already an antagonistic to Ok Chan Mi, I don't really see them to be the main culprit, they know something, but doubtful they are the responsible ones. - Tae So-Yeon is a second close possibility and could be a shocking revelation. - Hwang Bo-Un could also be a surprise.
I feel that there are underlying gay storyline here, and perhaps they are hinting on it. For instance, Kang Yul having gay dad. My gut feel is that Park Won-Seok is possibly gay. Kang Yul is probably his lover. IDK. It was a gut feel. Somehow, loop in Seok Jae-Bum who also giving me some gay vibe with how he was trying to get close with Ji Soo-Heon.
I think somehow Park Won-Seok MAYBE is doing exactly the same thing as what Ji Soo-Heon is doing. I think the whole angle of him being a bully is a red herring or misunderstanding. They made it a point to put in Kang Yul story to show that he defend against victim of bullies. The whole pregnancy shenanigan was obviously was out of his choice and he was force into it by Gi O Sung.
So whoever did it to Park Won-Seok probably was (1) someone he offended in the process - a possibly bully (Gi O Sung or Kook Ji Hyun?), (2) someone he pissed off for not doing the "job" probably (Tae So-Yeon??), (3) a gay love triangle (Seok Jae Bum?).
hold on hold on.... what if wonseok was secretly gay and was dating jaebeom (which explains the picture) also…
Jae Boom is giving so much gay vibes here. I mean, he was getting close with Ji Soo Heon in episode 5, either he was keeping tabs on him because of how close he is with Ok Chan Mi or he has a mild crush on that guy.
I'm invested with the family and how they navigate through this, and I'm not interested in what's happening with the gang. I felt like after 8 episodes in, there's not much happening, no character growth for the ML, the FL is annoying af, and the introduction of grandpa hopefully will stir things up, but so far nada. It's a short series, I expected things to be going quicker than usual, but it's almost in the end, I felt like the story was still stuck on episode 1, the characters are still the same old themselves.
FInally done. I'm not sure where the negativity is coming from. I think the story was great, episode by episode there is something new it has to offer, it was not a monotonous scifi where you expect same elements. I like the ending too, it was vague, it was open-ended, it was left for the viewers to be interpreted. A lot of scifi shows are rooted and will end with how it was, it's all about human connection and love.
Binge watch it on my long flight!!
