Gotta be honest here, I have very low expectation on Bright's acting, especially I hated how 'stiff' he is as Sarawat in 2gether (the only other show I watched with him in it). But he surprises me in this series.
Really hate the first few episodes and the whole bullying scenes. It was... too much? But once I passed that, everything is great. So far. episode 7 now.
if I have not watched the original money heist, I might have feel different. I just feel so attached with the original that I have a problem of dissociating this series with that.
Am I the only one who feels that this is overhyped? I was so underwhelmed. Not sure, if it was because I have a biased against historical drama, but the story seems to be a drag even for 6 episodes and I cant fully invest on it.
I really enjoyed this, the story is simple and not overly convoluted. I appreciate that it did not the show really focused on showing how the two main character really love each other.
What makes the show more enjoyable is the fact that all side characters and relationship is also enjoyable and watchable. There are some series that I get annoyed with this or that side relationship start to be better than main, this time, it was all right formula, right chemistry, right timing and enough story.
Missed opportunity. I wished they actually had a real trans to play the role. Or could have made the actor playing Nathan to also play the role of the post-op trans. They should have put some nuances from acting of Jason Abalos on Thea, much more convincing.
Finally done watching this series. First half of the series feels like a drag, Especially when it is blatantly obvious who's Paytai and who's Kong. I could not care less with the cases, they were not compelling enough for me. Feels like they were placed there to pad the story up to 16 episodes.
The story is pretty 'standard'. I was hoping for some twists but everything was predictable as it can be. It's not the usual thriller I want to watch. I guess the whole show was great if you don't care much on the story, but more on the acting and the actors themselves - they are good in portraying the characters.
At some point, I got lost as to whether I am watching a BL or not. The second half of the series (actually the last few episodes) shows more bromance than the actual romance. In fact, the main guy Tanwa looks more sweeter to his brother than to the cop girl lol.
Anan is pretty to look at lol.
I don't get the obsessive nature of Kong. I get his motivation but he quickly become the 'parent' that he hated. He pretty much torment Meena.
When they were solving crimes, it baffles me how Tanwa can just sneak in to any crime scene without any gloves, etc. Actually, not only him, but also the whole team.
I was actually wondering why Tanwa was called in as consultant to the team. Or did he present himself to Wilawan? Tanwa was actively investigating the 'symbol' on these crime scenes (they did not really explain what is the symbol, nor the significance of the painting).
Anyway, I'm gonna watch the Hello Monster and see if it was better,
does that defeat the purpose of a BL which literally mean 'boys love'?
no, what I mean is you categorize it as 'BL' and yet there's no romance. So I was just asking, it is like saying it is a horror show without any horror, or that it is a comedy without comedy.
I was actually find it funny that the motorcycle did not blow up after setting on fire. Those bullies deserve worst. I'm now on episode 9.
