i've just finished the drama but the ending is very complicated... i don't understand. Is Jisoo dead ? or he escapes…
It was meant to be open ended.
3 possible endings: 1. Jisoo and Gyuri escaped - hence, the detective only saw a shoe in the stairs. 2. Jisoo was caught alone - the camera pans towards the corner where Jisoo is without Gyuri, he looks at the detective. 3. Jisoo and Gyuri was caught - camera pans back and Gyuri is also there.
Then the hermit crab - did not show any face of who gave that water to the hermit crab. It can be anyone. But I think it is more of a symbolic / creative / artistic touch of the writer.
Why are there so many comments about Gyuri being annoying? Quite frankly, the only “good” character was the…
Even the detective? Sure, some of her actions seem to be questionable (ie "old man"'s phone), but I think her core motive is genuine and she wants to help and resolve this case.
What a great show. I usually watch shows in chunks, but this one it gripped me from start to finish. It feels so refreshing after watching lengthy dragged Korean shows (which solely focused on romance). It has this manga-inspired feel and I really like a lot of elements in the show. The acting is great and believable, I think the casting was good. Heck even the OST I enjoyed it, which I can't really say in other series lol.
This I think is a must watch show. It's short and definitely a much better one than that of Love Alarm.
There's really not much under water scenes to make a big deal of how 'tough it is' for her to film under water.…
The whole series. 95% of the series is on land. There are even multiple episodes (if not MOST of them) don't have a underwater scene, let alone a full episode filmed underwater.
I am not sure if I wanna dip my feet on it... but please tell me if the writer of this series used a different formula and not a reused plot/theme as my love from the stars and legend of the blue sea?
This is basically what I watched after My Love From The Stars. It's pretty obvious that the formula used in My Love from the stars is also used in this series. IMO, it feels that this series is more polished. I like the development and tension built on the villains and as the series progressed they made a good connection between the Joseon era to the now. In terms of characters, I really like Do Min Joon and dislike how weak Song Yi - and in here, it feels kinda the same. I really like Sim Cheong while Joon Jae feels like a plot line and love interest. I have to admit though, Joon Jae started out strong as a con man but as the series progress, he evolved into a love puppy and while the whole family story is interesting - it does not feel strong enough for his character.
Overall, there is much less dead weight scenes, it does try to move the story along.
I absolutely love this drama. Okay, I fast forward all the chaebol parts but I’m rewatching it again now. To…

I love it! It helps that the characters are eye candy lol. I thought I will hate it when the plotline of villain was introduced, but I am glad that they used that to create tension and build up the story of the main characters - even right at the end, the story was about Song Yi and Ming Jun,
I was hoping for something scary and horrifying. Three episodes in and it was a murder mystery with comedy. Then it turns into semi-horror with 'demons', then ended up in a fantasy adventure series. The Ghost Bride is not even the central plot. If it comes back for S2, I don't even see how the 'ghost briding' thing will play out.
Got to admit though, I was excited for Ludi Lin, but the eyebrows were off-putting. I guess, he should stay on movies or series with him being more shirtless, coz that's not really showcased here. lol.
It makes no sense that Jin-Woo as a master decided to go around and kill NPC while Se-Ju was in some kind of dungeon. Was it because the NPC who were after Jin-Woo was debugged? What really is the purpose of the 'master'?
It is a little bit confusing to have Se-Ju developed the game, then Jin-Woo (and J-One) jumped on it. Then all throughout the game, J-One is able to manipulate the game (ie close the server, give Jin-Woo new items, etc). I might have missed this, but when did Se-Ju transferred all his files and creation to J-One? It seems to me that Se-Ju did not develop it at all, since Jin-Woo went to Granada with the lens already and knows the game exist.
If J-One can manipulate the game, then why the hell they needed Jin-Woo to level up when they can simply program that or make an item that can speed up the levelling?
Does Jin-Woo finishing the quest debugged Marco? The main reason why Se-Ju was hiding in that dungeon is because of NPC Marco who is always after him.
Anyone here really appreciated Jung-Hee? She was quite annoying to me and there's not much character growth. She could have become bad-ass and help in the game. (Speaking of game, how the hell she is able to walk around with lens on, following Jin-Woo without getting killed?)
I want to like it as much as I want to but the flashback and unnecessary scenes make it look like the writers have only so little story to tell that it has to be stretched out to 16 episodes.

Also, is everyone just plain crazy? Everything is so over-acted and very cartoonish. And as episode passed by, it feels a bit predictable.
It feels like influenced by LOST.
So where is SEASON 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6? I NEED IT NOW. OMFG.
