They are showing it like that to pass the censorship. In one way it implies that she partly remembers and in other way it implies that she is just too engrossed in the stary and empathises with xiao nanchen wang and shiyi.

If u watch one and only, U will feel more connected to the story and the characters. Usually u will feel that after watching a few episodes if u don't watch the prequel.
