He made me a fan of him in this drama, so in my heart no one can replace ARP as FY and JY!! He's the perfect choice…
He really did very well here as Fan Yue, Mumu, and Jing Yuan. I am looking forward for his next work

He nailed it! ✨💜✨
I know Ao Rui Peng from his role as Lei Wu Jie in Song of Youth. I've watched Wanru's Journey also, but I was not impressed with him there. This drama really surprised me. I never know he had it in him to perform multiple role like this

Hearing you here, I am afraid to continue on The Blossoming Love, hahahaha.

In MM, honestly it is Fan Yue that hold me here. I am not really fond of Bai Shuo character, especially at the beginning. Sure she is better now, but still Fan Yue holds my attention. Really, who can ever think that Ao Rui Peng can look this good as demon character.

I also put The Blossoming Love into hold since I focus on MM right now. I kind of lost interest after knowing the strong and charming FL become weakly mess (through some short videos) and 2ML betray his friend (ML) to get the FL ..... It is a big nono for me. I hate it when a man betray his friend for a woman.

I never knew ARP can look this freaking good in purple costume 😭💜 DAMMNNNNN! Can't take my eyes off from…
His appearance in this drama honestly surprised me. I never know he can looks very good as demon. Very different with his looks as Lei Wu Jie.

Watching this. Currently at episode 15. Story wise, very good until now. This drama brings you to see the depth of human depravity. But, I wish they can explore more why Fan Yue falls to Bai Shuo. I can understand why Bai Shuo attracted to Fan Yue and I can see the gradual change of Bai Shuo feeling, but I can not see the vice versa.

Ao Rui Peng acting is quite good in this one. I can certainly see the difference in aura between Mumu and Fan Yue during amnesia misshap. And I just realized here that he is very suitable for heavy make up, hahahaha.

This drama started quite well. However, the way FL acted after her marriage was not making sense. She was the mistress of Shen family, how can she was still trampled in her work place? Also, she did not acted as if she was married. They acted like 2 people live together instead of husband and wife

Horrible editing aside, I need to say that Zhang Ling He truly is gorgeous in this drama, especially in his demon garb. It is truly disappointing to see such a potential destroyed because of editing.

I really hope this ML can be casted in proper costume drama in the future. He has the looks and figure that is very fit for costume. And he can further grow his acting skill in more complex story telling.

Title Never Gone
Dot on about the "intern power" ~ ridiculous and unconvincingly handled by director
Never in my experience that an intern can achieve such a thing that the FL achieved in this drama. Academic and real life these days are so wide apart. Every intern and new employee needs intense training before they can be let go to work independently on project.

This drama is based on fantasy ......
Yeaa, I heard also that it is based on a book. Perhaps old novel. And this kind of FL perhaps quite popular in those days.

I just finished the Drama.Looks like you did a SERIOUS WATCH.I had a LOT LOT LOT of stuff going on in my head…
In my opinion the story will be much better if we can see how the FL really strive to the best version of herself. At least, I will be able to see how hard work matters in the end. But, no. All I see was dumb FL that seems to never be able to get better at all, not to mention become such a doormat in her romance relationship.

Just read your review. Wow, you have lots of frustration, hahahaha

My problem with this drama mainly is FL characterization. I just cannot bring myself liking this kind of woman. She has everything that I hate and I striving to never become. I didn't and still don't understand why such a high achiever ML could ever liking this kind of woman.

That is also the part that made me questioning the reality that I live in, hahahaha. I was thinking whether intern should have that kind of authority and responsibility while looking on the intern working in my place ......

I don't think her voice is baby voice
Hahahaha, no problem. I commented the same thing while the drama was still airing. I personally think that criticizing actor/actress acting skill should not be seen as bashing them. In the end, we all want them to improve so to bring more enjoyment to us as audience.

There was someone who said the exactly the same as you in douban forum discussion. The discussion followed that statement was not pretty though.

I agree with you that Ding Yu Xi has better acting skill here, especially in emotional department. In some emotional scenes, I saw that an un-balanced emotional ouput from both characters.

Ah so glad you discovered him! Whatever the series, the one constant is he is always so fab. He has traits in…
That one from Liu Yu Ning and the one from Faye are my favorite. I have them in repeat. So beautiful!

Yes, this current trend of OE is really disappointing. I just want a proper ending. BE or HE, the scriptwriter just need to choose one. I don't like it when they choose OE so they will not offend audience pro BE and pro HE. Well, in my opinion, sooner or later they will end up offending both.

Ding Yu Xi is certainly a gem. Of course he still has lots to improve, especially in emotional layering. But, at his age, this level is already very good. And I love his voice. Happy that he use his real voice here. Moonlight also has his real voice. I am looking forward for his future work.

My Journey to You is within my plan; after I finish Moonlight. I already emotionally invested in that drama, so I will finish that first, hahahaha.

Yeah. I thought the ending to be HE, too. I hope we can have more obvious HE. Just what the hell with all this open ending ...... It is somehow become a trend now.
Just, Cheng Yi acting was too good so I was drown in Li Lian Hua somehow depressing life situation.

And then I tried to watch this drama to look something sweet. Actually one thing drew me to this drama was the OST sung by Liu Yu Ning. Ding Yu Xi was a nice surprise for me here.

Open endings appears to be an ongoing trend for Xianxia genre for a while now... I've hated that type of ending…
Even though this is xianxia, still Chu Kong soul was already dissipated. He is dead in the very sense of immortal here. Except the screenwriter can explain that part of his soul survive somehow, then the ending is not logical. Not to mention, he retained memories as mortal. This is even more confusing.

Cang Hai rebirth is explained clearly. Her soul was protected by Chu Kong spirit, thus she can rebirth as cloud, and then come back as Cang Hai. Chu Kong case is completely different.

The lighting of God of War star does not answer anything. The very problem is "why" Chu Kong can come back thus making the star lighting up.
