Seulki is jia and jiyeon, jongwoo is hyungjoon, and seuon and yoongjae are being jinyaek and soyeon.
Soe is being sihun and minjae, while seujung is yeawon
Even the swinging, hair, and mask dates are the same
It's better for the new people cuz the old ones rejected act like they were dumped with no hopes of finding love again 🤣
For them, either they persevere and look loyal/clingy or try other ppl and still get rejected multiple times and look unwanted..
Tho I feel like the ones rejecting should atleast give each person one date or fully tell them they're not interested. Dongwoo gave nadine a shot now she gained confidence to approach more ppl cuz it's not a game of pride
We ended up skipping the 2nd half and skimmed through the ending
He was a good boyfriend and they were cute tho their supposed breakup was our last straw
This drama didn't have a relationship to build, so instead they wasted it on "how can I like HIM"
She was clueless on politics but, so he was miraculously super informed and guided her like a NPC
She became an insider with a chance to change things for the common people but 90% of this show was an empty power struggle with no real work
Sure neither me or my mom got their political blah blahs, but we didn't watch a documentary
The writer failed miserably in all aspects of the plot
The games happened, ppl that died died, and people that survived hurt in the same way they were in games.. and to explain their return "they" used the meteors... and they'll be sucked back in for the joker game..
Or, they're still in the game and the hospital is fake cuz they're in the joker game..
I refuse to think the games were fake. Tho aliens don't make sense, so what? Wasn't the metro thing with the dead ppl in s1?
Them choosing to play the games as virtual reality also doesn't fit well
So what? They're controlled by the rich and their whole life is a hunger games/maze runner?
Tho for me EAW was just "flat" and not as emotional or revolutionary the writer thought their cases were. While this literally kept wanting plot twists and shock value 😔
I'm sensitive and I cry a lot so if a writer failed to do that for me, it means it's cheap tears🥱
not even great writing 🤣
If it's not a thriller why the psychopath?
And if not a deep drama why make it about dead people needing closure?
This was not a romcom -it failed on that front too- it was supposed to be a "healing drama"
20th century girl was a copy of 25, 21. And may I help you used the same cheap trauma from love is for suckers. And yes I'm bitter after the cheap deaths used in her work
The bad;
Flat, horrible connection, cheap thriller, backstory solved in 15mins, stopped using the main element for half the drama and wasted it on an ex no one cared about, made the backstory even more dramatic then threw in one last punch of cheap tears
The good;
Sweet leads with adorable romance and great chemistry and great acting, and sweetest dad
Again bad;
but horrible horrible writer that couldn't deal with their mature understanding romance so she threw in silent moments where leads randomly avoided each other then shrugged it off
Tho I mean it is like a drama and they're a bit acting, I think ppl should keep that in mind
Pushy, jealous, playing around, overreacting, getting hurt over someone they don't know, the rejection
It's all such cheesy cheep entertainment and I'm all here for it🤣
I personally wouldn't survive there, too much mind games for me
I like actors/characters I like🤷🏻♀️
