She is being absolutely the worst with Pin, but idont think she is jealous at all, she is just highly aware of…
Exactly! Though of distant royal blood, Pad is essentially a servant in the household of the royal family and very conscious of the precariousness of her position. It's not like if she pisses off the royals she can just go out and get another job. She's clearly terrified that Pin's relationship with Anil puts them both at jeopardy.
I'm not gonna lie. Freen's acting ability is kinda still same. Not saying it's bad but I feel like it's average.…
Interesting POV. I'm feeling almost the opposite: Freen's acting skill grows with every project - her facial expressions, body language, vocal expression. I love Becky, but she's still almost wooden in her delivery in this series - everything in the same tone of voice - who really talks like that?
Thing is, I saw Becky in "Long Live Love" and she was outstanding! Completely natural, fully at ease, great comedic timing, heart tugging emotions. So if that level of delivery isn't showing up in her GL projects I'm laying that at the feet of the acting coach and director, because RPA has proven she absolutely has the talent.
Anyone else notice that when middling reviews pointed out the glaringly obvious flaws in this series a bunch of short 10-10-10-10 reviews suddenly popped up? I'm thinking the producers sent word to all employees to pump it up lest folks figure out how badly they screwed up in the final two episodes.
High caliber, high velocity shells can't get through it, but hey, just ram it with an SUV.
A gazillion dollars worth of security, but all you need to do is open an unsecured trap door and climb a ladder.
Then, a taxi. Really?
I LOVED this series, the story, the production, and every actor in it, but that doesn't mean I didn't notice when the all the weight bearing plot columns disintegrated in the final episode.
I liked my demon and never understood the hate bc song kang's character was actually refreshing compared to his…
"compared to your God"??
Not mine.
That said, no one is required to tippytoe around the tender feelings of the believers of any religion. There's no point in going out of one's way to offend, but sometimes it happens, even without intent. I understand if you're sensitive about it; you get to be. You also get to chortle over a perceived comeuppance. On the other hand, the religious have also not tippytoed around the feelings of the non-religious. So, I guess we're all even.
My Demon did just fine attracting world wide audience, ranked up to second on Netflix top 10 when they picked it up last year, and built a new fan base for its stars. So I think one could reasonably infer that My Demon, while not to your standards, is not objectively "bad." Is that what you meant by getting what it deserved?
Hope you don't mind if I disagree with you (some people on here are weird about that) on Sisyphus. First off, I'll admit I'm a fan of dystopian fiction - or as I often think of it, our inevitable future. I thought the movie overall was mildly entertaining, but Park Shin Hye was the only reason I stuck with it. That performance convinced me she has the gravity to carry complex plots. JFH proves my theory.
they saw her in heirs and decided to never move on lol
Heirs was the first thing I saw her in and it made an instant fan out of me. Actually, it was a twofer, because it's the first time I saw Kim Ji Won also.
I really liked it at the beginning, but now i am a bit disappointed cuz it became like a propaganda of god/religion,…
It felt so overdone and heavy handed I had to start fast forwarding through the Church Lady moments. I get why they want to contrast with Hell, but I don't get why it gets way too much air time.
Holy shit shin hye what I've seen a lot of her dramas i thought she was whatever but where was she hiding this…
Watch Sisyphus if you haven't already. Her butt-kicking boots get a good workout in that movie also. The movie is meh, but Park Shin Hye is great in it
hello drama viewers i have a very simnle yet complex question for you guyscan you explain the way yoou keep track…
MDL has its limitations, so I use it along with a to-do style checklist to keep up with what I have watched / want to watch. I use "My Watchlist" as a master list and I'm starting MDL custom lists so I can sub group my watch titles the way I want. It's tedious compared to my to-do list where I can separate mainstream and GL/WLW and subgroup each by country of origin or sub genre. MDL also doesn't exclude articles (a, an, the) when alphabetizing by title, so it makes it harder for me to find titles I've listed. Still, I haven't found anything better.
I'll keep trying to figure it out though so I don't have to maintain redundant lists.
binged 5 episodes, its surprisingly good. - outfits of PSH really suit her it reminds me of IU in Hotel Del Luna.-…
The vintage look suits reminded me of QoT. Designer clothes are getting a showcase in k-drama. That worked out really well for Kim Ji Won, getting some major sponsorships from it. Maybe other actresses will benefit, as well.

I think I just did a Scooby double take. Arooo?

Loving the shout out for one of my first and still a favorite kdrama.
