Didn't one of them say they are tired of wearing the other's face at the end? Which means they aren't related at all but one is wearing a mask of the other's face? You said "in this version" so do you mean the adaptation and they show that in other adaptations? I'm confused lol.
Anyways, idk if I paid attention enough but the Wu Sanxing we saw in the young days I believe was the real him but when we saw a bad side of him it was actually Xie Lianhuan maybe... Idek, I could be wrong in all this. It's like I need to rewatch, read recaps, or read the book lol
I'm glad the drama gets more serious early on bc tbh, I was a little tired of seeing mostly comedic scenes (idk why but for some reason it's actually on-and-off for me) 😅 I think it started to get better for me by ep 6 or 7 so that's a good sign! I would still like them to tone down the comedy tho bc smth about it feels a bit off, and this is me who loves FoF to the core, my top fave, which ik many ppl say that they are similar in that aspect. I think the way they did it in FoF just flowed better / was executed better? Idk. Anyways, I've seen a little bit of the teasers (not much to spoil smth big for me) and I'm still behind (finished ep 8) so I'm excited to see what awaits me in future eps! 🥰

For sure. After having watched all three, I can see more of their similarities. But for me in general, it's very easy to tell who is who. Anyways, about these three, it's also kinda funny bc Jozeph Zeng has acted with them.
Def just gonna watch it on Viki if no other platform picks it up (lowkey hoping one with 4K HD quality picks it up tho like Netflix and release it on time...)
The moment Mingyi acted like she was willing to risk herself to protect Bozai, I was laughing so hard bc she's saying the same thing as Buxiu, but the difference is huge btw them, as well as the way Bozai reacts to them, which made it 10x funnier I can't 😭😭

Lol yeah tbh it did get boring but I enjoyed some of the cp scenes... I would've preferred less romance tho, no lie, as an investigation drama.
But some other good ones: BiA (Lu Yuxiao is way too cute here), TLB, TSL, FSMRMP (well, second cp was the best and most believable here), MJTY (tho I'm not a fan of second cp that includes LYX like many others), WoH, BftB, etc.
