I'm here to say I don't think Xiao Mingming (his modern self) actually dies (it's the way they do it that can make it really confusing) bc the BTS shows he does end up living but they cut it~ We just don't get to see the exact ending of him so ig there's nothing official about if he lives or dies lol.

Ppl say it gets better by ep 6-8 (where it starts to get more serious). Try to see if it's the same for you, and if not, then that's fine. We all have our own tastes anyway.

Watching the martial arts trailer video already has me shook! The martial arts? The cinematography? The coloring? The sets? The costumes? The CGI and effects? Etc.! Everything's so good! And yk what? The use of instruments makes this addition very unique from others to me! I love it! As a music lover, I am living for this! Like y'all, this is my most anticipated drama since last year and they already exceeded my expectations with this stuff so far 😭😭

I'm lowkey hoping it will be smth like Li Chenzhou and Shirong from The Journey of Legend. I'm guessing u haven't watched it yet but despite the little screentime, they are a lovely and mature cp I've come to love. But I won't expect much here. Maybe u alr know what kind of dynamic they will have? Anyways, I just hope it will be satisfying enough.

And ngl, I'm more lowkey shipping Bozai and Buxiu for fun bc they're similar age and also bc Buxiu is jealous whenever he hears Bozai having a friend and putting his attention to them (well, Mingyi only ig) so he wants to push her away from him (and anyone who gets in Bozai's way) LOL

Okay, we will see about Whispers of Fate, my most anticipated drama for more than a year. So far, the OST previews are way too good, and no drama has so much of the main + big supporting cast singing OSTs, but it looks like this one will, which they actually haven't revealed these ones yet, which is crazy exciting!

Lol I loved Fated Hearts when it started. But with the addition of more and more annoying characters... I ended up ff all their scenes. I am only continuing watching for the leads, Suige's ppl, and his brother. Story is pretty good tho for me. But it's messier with all these messed up ppl lmao.

Whispers of Fate and Sword and Beloved are very likely to air late this month. Also, you need to watch Dashing Youth, and after that, The Blood of Youth, after you finish Blood River. Both dramas are good, esp TBOY, which you're missing out on.

Yessss and better yet we get 4K for this (idk if MangoTV does but Youku and WeTV don't either) so I'm happy whenever we get smth on iQIYI or Netflix for this matter 😍

I miss this drama too 💔 I loved how it wasn't busy at all bc this was the only drama that was airing so I was able to put my full attention on it and write comments and discuss things with y'all and I miss those days 😭 I can't even join in the discussions of other airing dramas rn bc I'm always behind (idek how you do it, I'm surprised to see you caught up with the three airing dramas... difficult for me, I had to put Yunmy 3x on hold) 🫠

But for Blood River and Whispers of Fate... since they're my top two most anticipated, I'm gonna really try to be on time with them both 😩 And as much as Chengyi is my fave actor and I wanna watch Sword and Beloved, I'm gonna only start that once I finish one of the other two dramas bc three dramas at a time isn't for me~ Hbu?
