I had suspected it might be like that after kind of spoiling myself some key things of the ending. And tbh, there's a drama that aired last year that I ABSOLUTELY loved (prob my fave even) which reminded me of it bc of its ending (which I also have mixed feelings for). I won't say it, but those who watched it may know.

Honestly, I felt happy watching the ending, but then I remembered all the moments they spent tgt throughout all the eps. I can't forget it at all! But them? They forgot it all. Even some of the shared bonds have severed which in some way confuses me. And Wu Shiguang being the only one that rmrs all the hardships and all the memories is actually really sad. If I were him, I'd be heartbroken. I'm surprised to see him happy lol as much as I'm happy idk if it's realistic xD I mean, yeah, Jiu Ying is gone and all, but everything they went thru is like *poof* except for Wu Shiguang.

1) Is this supposed to be an alternate / parallel universe?
2) What timeline are we in?
3) Why doesn't Li Jie know Ji Ling anymore? Now I don't like this... All the memories and hardships btw them gone...
2) Why and how does Wu Shiguang have the memories? I guess it's because he's the Dragon Deity?
3) Ji Ling is now back to his carefree self. But wait... He's got the face of Yuan Xizai? So wouldn't he have met Yuan Wuhuo? Where did that go?
4) Lu Wuyi still exists and still has the appearance of Di Zhu from the past. I love her, but I thought she had to sadly die in order for Jiu Ying to cease to exist. But how does she still exist? To me, it doesn't make sense, esp when u think about how Jiu Ying created her.
6) Both couples are in different universes now is my guess? But I still don't understand how they could exist into their forms hmm...

While it's happy to some, tbh, I have more mixed feelings and confusion with this ending. I prefer happy endings depending on how they're written. And in this one, well... Everyone forgot everything, and even if both cps get tgt, the shared bond from the past is gone. Idk how to feel (again, it reminds me of that one drama and I'm literally putting my feelings from that into this basically lol).

Yep... Me and my friend were just talking about all the reunions of the FoF cast. At least every single one of them have reunited with another once which is crazy! Now my biggest wish is indeed HMH and YN like omg their chemistry was so good but we didn't get enough of it and need it in another drama now (not GJM tho ofc)! Oh, and considering how close LWM and XZX were BTS, we need one for them too plsssss.

And yesss I rmr the rumored cast for Immortalis and was hoping so much it would be HMH and XZX! Still can't believe it to this day! I'm so excited to see them again. In FoF we didn't get interactions with them much but now we get to see it in their new drama tgt which makes me so happy aahhh!!

Well for BGM OST, idk the exact but they put the original OSTs too so it could go down by like 40+... Still A LOT despite that! I grieve for FoF never releasing them all like this one OOF

After they released prob every single BGM of VoS, lemme just grieve over the fact that we couldn't get all the FoF ones... Like I really want them to release them all RIGHT NOW! Too many epic and beautiful ones not released 💔💔

I rmr me and my sister would try to find many different BGMs and share with Song (those who were here would rmr her hehe) about them just for the BGM. Like yeah I never did that for another drama. That's how unforgettable the OSTs are in this drama. Oh how I wish we could easily get it like VoS... I feel so robbed 😭

I went thru 100, and hearing barely any BGM with singing, I was like, "Okay, maybe it's in the bottom," and the first song that pops up after the official OSTs? The one we've been looking for 😂 I didn't even go thru the entire thing but I will be sad but won't be surprised if they don't give it to us like omg they are killing us for this 😭

Wow I can't believe our WuWu cp only got like around 1 ep of screentime tgt, like whaaat?? That's crazy... And to think they got 4 times less screentime in comparison? It makes me so sad bc I was craving for them in the last third of the drama... It was clear that JiLu was more focused on and it sucks bc I wanted to see both cps equally, not one to be the more focused one.

Tbh, I actually thought in the first half they did better in balancing the screentime. The second half was really obvious that it kinda bugged me, as much as I love Tian Jiarui. I adored the WuWu cp, so to me, it sucked not having enough of them.

And you're right, likeee... How can you make Shiguang the true dragon god and make his arc like this? I was hoping they would do well in focusing on his development as a dragon god but it wasn't really done as well as I had hoped. He wasn't even focused on much. I wanted that tho as the true dragon god he is...

Ngl, even b4 this aired, I always thought Tian Jiarui was playing a Dragon Deity (not even a fake) this whole time so it was quite a plot twist for me that he wasn't actually a true one lol. I think once they revealed to us that Shiguang was the true dragon god, the focus on him should've been bigger. It would've been nice but oh well.

Tbh me neither. I love both. But I do have to admit I was craving for more of WuWu. This could be bc they got less screentime in the last third of the drama. Most of the focus was on JiLu which ngl made me sad only bc the WuWu cp was sidelined :( But then I did feel it getting a bit repetitive with JiLu which did get tiring for me but I still adore them. :)

Yeah I am aware and it's unfortunate. I've been waiting for these BL adapted dramas tbh. Also I think you will love the relationships in FoF, esp the bond btw the MLs :)

As for censorship, well, TGCF is a danmei, and they are stricter with these. They are still strict with these kind of bromances tho that yry to make it look like BL. How FoF one passed censorship? Idk tbh bc it feels like a love story btw the MLs, tho there is also a FL (so that could be one of the reasons). Anyways we do love to joke about it being a polyamory tbh LOL the drama where u can ship almost anyone with someone else (out of the youngsters in the cast)!

I have to say FoF is on another level (they're both part of a love triangle with Neo Hou's character there - we joke about it but it feels like it anyway so likeee) so I rec trying it after maybe hehe in this one I always felt it was one-sided with Li Jie lol.

Dang that person just makes me smh seeing their comments... Even if I'm into BL or bromance or whatever, you can't deny the beautiful relationship of JiLu!

And yeah, Li Jie seeing Ji Ling and then hugging him after losing him initially makes the scene so much more beautiful and emotional! 🥹
