I loved Mun as a character. He was someone I really adored throughout the drama. My favorite ever. And I love the found family here so much. The ML's relationship with his fellow counters, best friends, and grandparents. The focus on his parents was also really nice, not to mention Motak actually knowing his father. One thing tho is I found they kept dragging on the fight against the evil, where they kept constantly losing. I think it could've been shortened or executed better somehow. Also, I did wish the focus was more solely on his parents and Motak's memories rather than also having to hear the villain's (esp Myeonghwi) side of the story tbh. I had no care for him and wished they just showed and explained about him more briefly than they did. I was genuinely happy and proud to see one of the bullies in the end have a change of heart. It was so beautiful and made me emotional that Mun was so loving and caring even towards him despite that which changed that bully.
Okay wait... Is S2 confirmed or is it just a rumor still? Idek what to believe! But it would be super crazy if it's true! But at the same time I am nervous... They better do it well and not ruin this first season! I've been so curious to see how the end plays out and it would be so fun to see it all happen.
I wonder if we will get nearly the full version of nearly them living their lives and then possibly another angst coming but this time with not as many flashbacks like for instance Ji Ling and Li Jie had a lot of flashback scenes, as well as JiLu (puppet Ji Ling meeting Wuyi b4 his memories got wiped), which was sad for me.
And pls give more characters the time to shine and be fair! For example, my WuWu cp didn't get enough and I feel robbed of them when I've been waiting for them for over a year!
If I were to watch this, which episodes could I safely skip so as to enjoy what's worth watching of this? If I…
Not sure if you should rely on one's opinions on this. I actually liked it more starting ep 17-20 and then it gets very angsty by ep 40.
I actually dropped this last year after 20 eps bc I wasn't feeling it. Started again and finished it today and it was quite a ride.
Try it for yourself. You never know your opinion until you watch it :) But ofc it's understandable to be hesitant bc it's so long.
I did find many characters interesting, even the ones that turn dark like SML and SFL. Ofc their actions can be a stress or annoying tho. But I think they quite were well-written.
By the end I didn't root the FL to be with anyone but to stand on her own. Romance felt forced in the end too lol but TLOSL fans might just ignore that anyway.
So yeah, in conclusion, not everyone will share the same opinion. For instance, I may understand one's criticism in their review but actually still enjoy the drama despite that criticism, or even disagree with it to an extent bc of how differently I view that certain thing they're criticizing for.
Do we have the instrumentals / bgms yet ??? I am still looking for those musics.
I'm so bummed! They gave everything for VoS, only some for FoF (still me grieivng over this fact that it's SOME)... and WoF has so many beautiful and epic ones! They should've released them ðŸ˜
I wonder if that Jelly person truly has a split personality (smth like DID) bc that would make sense in a way oof anyways I can't believe we have to deal with them in the comment section tho omg and wthhh happened to the ratings like I didn't expect such a huge drop... The haters are too much. This is why I don't look at ratings to watch a drama bc some of my most beloved dramas are like this rating or even less.
This was one of the first dramas on my watchlist which was years ago and I only watched it recently which I regret...…
I can't... the fact that I knew about this and had it in my watchlist long ago and only watched it recently... Even after watching nearly 200 dramas, this one is truly up there in my favorites. The writing is insanely good. Like time travel can be confusing but this one does it so well that it makes sense and blows your mind. I love time travel but this one takes the cake it terms of storytelling and writing. Not to mention the bond between our cp and trio is really beautiful. Ughh I am missing this again now 🥲
I'm trying to organise my thoughts about the ending and this is the only part which doesn't add up for me.
Another thing that doesn't make sense to me is how Li Jie exists bc he was a part - obsession - of the original Yuan Wuhuo, who came into being bc of Ji Ling / Xizai, who seem to not even exist in the world he lives in.
For those who watched WoF and The Spirealm (major spoilers) and Xia Zhiguang being in all of them...
I watched The Spirealm first - the ending where everyone but the ML rmrs the events that happened in the drama.
Watched Whispers of Fate as it aired - the ending where everyone forgot everything as well, including the ML who sacrificed himself for them... and one of them seems to rmr him.
Watched this just now - the ending where everyone but Shiguang forgets everyone.
What kind of ending is this? The ending where everyone but one person rmrs everything.
Does XZG like these kinds of endings? 😂ðŸ˜ðŸ¤§
After WoF: Why does he have two endings like this? After VoS: Why does he now have a third one??

Also what dramas copied this idea? Lol curious.
