I was actually happy to see that arc early-on because I thought they were foreshadowing the ending with her being…
I heard in the novel that she has three personalities like woah... That would've been interesting to see. If it was a real thing, I think this drama should explore / should've explored what it's like to have different alters and how to learn to accept and live with it, like the actual DID.
Well, I hope that isn't much of a spoiler... I hate spoilers so no more spoilers please ๐ ๐ฉ For me, while I like seeing Dark Mu Dai, I can't exactly accept her completely taking over her body since it wasn't hers to begin with. I would've liked it more if they learn to accept having alters in their body like irl. But I'd still be fine if Bright Mu Dai came back by herself, tho it would be interesting to see how they deal with kind of co-existing together lol.
When does this plot point show up? I'm not sure I like the sound of this.
About halfway in the drama. And idk, I find it pretty interesting. Hope it stays that way. Not sure where the direction is going for this yet since I'm just starting it.
So I'm just now watching Dark Mu Dai who atm overtook Bright Mu Dai. It seems like Mu Dai has DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder)? Smth like that. I actually didn't know this was a thing though in real life. That's really shocking. It's like at least two people in one body. Anyways, I find this arc pretty interesting and look forward to seeing more of Dark Mu Dai. Surely I'm missing Bright Mu Dai, but this is a uniquely intriguing topic to explore.
No matter how much I try, I cannot just get into this drama! The FL is perfect! Itโs the ML who ruins this drama…
I watched it and I felt that there were many draggy parts and often felt bored ๐ Luckily there were still some funny moments so that helped me finish the show, but I also think the drama gets quite better in the second half, but tbh, I didn't find the plot / story compelling enough~ The main issues I had was the leads' chemistry (and like you, the ML was also an issue for me) and the overall plot. I even found Shen Li's parents to be more interesting that I lowkey wanted to see a full drama of their story ๐ญ
And fun fact, Furong had some special feelings for Mofang in the novel (the actors even had an interview together talking about their relationship) but it was erased out of the drama due to censorship which would've been quite interesting to see, even if the screentime may not be a lot.
Gosh, I cried so hard when Bai Jiusi was watching the past of Ruyue and their child! This broke me to pieces!…
Btw, after all that they've gone thru, can we miraculously get a happy ending where they reunite with their child? Both Bai Jiusi and Hua Ruyue? How about Meng Changqin? Haha, the chances tho? Oh, one can only hope / wish ๐ญ๐
Gosh, I cried so hard when Bai Jiusi was watching the past of Ruyue and their child! This broke me to pieces! Now I understand why Ruyue blames him for their child dying ๐ฅ๐ Oh, this is too much for my heart! Not to mention it's Father's day like why do this to us today? The timing ๐คง๐ซ I'm so happy tho to see Meng Changqin again~ The way he took care of them both was so touching~ Happy Father's day to him indeed bc of how much care he had for the child ๐ฅน
Is she? Bc when I started watching The Seven Relics of Ill Omen, she for some reason always reminded me of Chen Duling bc of how similar they feel in not just their looks but presence as well. Now I'm surprised to learn they share the same last name (even in the Chinese characters).
lol, was it really necessary to kill off lu ji and wen ji in the literal last minute of the final episode? like…
You should mark this as a spoiler. Also, to make myself happier, I will imagine the last 10 minutes wasn't there. Bc the ending in the novel is that they all survive in that final battle. Even Tong'er survived... So yeah, I hate how they did the drama like that. I understand Tong'er's death bc Ai Mi had to go to school lol but yeah the final battle just wasn't it so pretend it didn't happen.
Okay I have a question. So I am honestly not complaining at all about Bai Lu's voice in the show bc tbh it really sounds very similar to Bai Lu so it suits her really well. I can't be wrong tho that she is still being dubbed by the same VA, right, since they don't show there's another one? Bc woah that VA is really good then. I'm impressed. Wanna praise her for this! Like for instance:
Oh boy this didn't even get released yet and we're already getting a Luo Yunxi and Alen Fang reunion for Shadow Punisher! This is crazy and exciting! I bet we're gonna be shipping them once this comes out and then we get to see them again? I LOVE THIS!!
Omg so we're really getting a Luo Yunxi and Alen Fang reunion after Shui Long Yin and that one hasn't even got released yet? This is amazing!! I'm so excited for this drama even more! ๐ฅน๐ซถ
I loved watching Meng Changqin and Lin Fan but I'm so sad we didn't get enough of them... To me it was a bummer that some of the characters we meet don't appear much bc I already get used to them and then they're gone just like that :( I looked forward to seeing the Meng actor and ughh he made me fall in love with Changqin~ He's so cute and handsome! Tbh it felt abrupt when he wasn't shown later on... I already missed him the moment his story ended in the leads' past life in the mortal world ๐ฉ I also actually watched Lin Fan actor in Summer Again recently so when I saw him finally I was so happy! Not to mention it's his real voice so yay! I also just watched the actress of his wife as the poison expert in The Double so when I realized it was her, oh that was a lot of fun!
I just started this and omg I laughed when Cao Yanhua watched Mu Dai do qinggong and went "So Wuxia is real" in shock and awe... ๐ฉ๐คฃ๐ญ No but really that would literally be every one of us if we were in his position ๐ ๐
