To me the thing about camp 3 is that if I lose interest in a drama, I drop it and it is in the past. Yet the loads…
Unfortunately negativity is always most often voiced louder than positivity in this world. I think critique done in a neutral tone and not one laced with hatred, condescension and anger is ok, people can voice their opinions but once it turns into nonstop hate? Nahhhh just move on, find something else and be happier :')
i am always group 1: i watch a drama for entertainment and if visuals and actors are ok, i will watch it, not…
Yes so true though, even slice of life dramas can be unrealistic, whats to say non slice of life dramas would be?? I think every viewer at one point gives 10/10 to a drama with obvious flaws just because they connect with the chemistry or very specific areas of a drama and not the overarching element of a drama (me included). But so happy for you to be camp 1 fam!! Hope watching LOTFG gave you lots of entertaintment and joy hehehe
I feel like there are three camps of viewers for this drama hahahaha
1 - The ones in it for the visuals, the romance, the leads, capable of looking past unrealistic plot points (or even being oblivious to them) and are here just for a nice chill casual ride to unwind after a long day
2 - The ones who see the flaws in the drama and can actively ridicule and critic them, but are able to make excuses for these flaws to keep pushing through the drama or they overall still enjoy it, again for the visuals, leads, romance
3 - The ones who see the flaws and unrealism, which then prevents them from being emotionally and logically immersed in the drama, and therefore drop it, as much as they may hate to do so because the wait for this drama was pretty long and hyped and the lead actors are well-liked
And all three camps are equally valid, just to each their own.
Personally I was camp number 2 until 20 episodes or so and switched to camp 3. A pity honestly because I really wanted to enjoy this drama :( Good for everyone else who is able to though :(
the only thing this drama served was moon baek's visuals and a half-baked (quarter-baked?) plot masquerading as a promising social commentary on widespread access to guns in a country.
Just finished the first episode - it has me hooked, which I haven't felt this way for other recent historical cdramas.
FL is logical and calculating, ML, although carries immense emotional baggage from the slaughter of his family, still listens to reason and isn't completely blinded by revenge.
Came to MDL expecting good ratings for this drama, and alas :) 8.6, not surprised at all. Hopefully the drama keeps up with this momentum, with no huge logical flaws or useless draggy plot points.
I tried to watch another drama with high ratings but I could never get into it after 6 episodes... lol I think…
OR I could just rewatch FoF LOL. I am not someone who rewatches shows so I think this really shows my appreciation for this beautiful drama. (But I am just not ready to go through alladat pain again TT)
I tried to watch another drama with high ratings but I could never get into it after 6 episodes... lol I think I'm still suffering from withdrawal, and I can't help but compare FoF to the new one I am trying to watch, which just makes it harder for me to appreciate the new one with a fresh blank state... (And this isn't really fair to the new drama I'm watching tbh)
I think I'll have to watch variety shows or anime for now because the withdrawal this time seems really serious oh my god.
Perhaps I'll watch Divas Hit the Road S6 and watch our Tian Jiarui and Neo Hou in there :] I encourage everyone to watch that too! I've seen some snippets of it and it looks like a really chill and funny show of a bunch of friends/siblings travelling.
Just finished the drama and I have heavy withdrawal now, if anyone has a full playlist (YT, tiktok, etc) of all their behind the scenes compiled (doesnt need eng subs) I will be deeply grateful T_T I watched the ones posted by the official IQIYI channel on YT but I have a feeling that is not all there is to it....
This is based off a novel right? Is the novel/translation complete? Anyone knows where to read it? I heard the ML was a lot more unhinged in the novel but they had to tone that down in the drama so I was kinda curious how unhinged he would get.
What happened this time, you are vomting again? Is this drama worth watching
I had to drop this like 4 episodes in because i just knew it wasnt going to be a pleasant watch with all the women fighting each other over a scummy man. But i was still curious about the plot. So thank you for the summary now i can move on.
He has said a few times that teaching her Go in that park helped him through a difficult time he was having. I…
Yes, this made sense to me BEFORE it was revealed that he signed up as the guardian of the first bully victim's mother very very early on. This was before they started playing Go together. So that's why when this new information was revealed I was very confused...
I am mustering all my willpower to wait for this to finish airing before watching because I just kNOW I'd need to binge this omg my love LYX finally in a new promising xianxia
Can someone explain to me what exactly made Yeojeong like Dongeun so much to the extent of wanting to partake…
Like, he knew she would come to him for help considering he was the son of the director of the hospital. But at that point they barely knew each other yet, so what was it that attracted him to her so much?
Can someone explain to me what exactly made Yeojeong like Dongeun so much to the extent of wanting to partake in her revenge plan? More details in the spoilers:
