E09.Audience: Oh great, the witness is back. But she's going to die because of Mr. Arse.Writer: Surprise! She'll die because of a staker without any background story!
To those reacting why they have to add romance in it: think of it as the toned down version of Western shows, wherein it's not complete without a freaking bed scene. Hahahaha.
No, seriously.
In a way, it's similar in the Philippines. Our P-drama also have romance no matter the genre. Comedy? Expect romance. Action? Sure, there will be romance in it. GHOST SCARY story? It's impossible not to have any romance. The only genre without romance is, well, pron, they just, you know… they don't need romance.
So, just enjoy the show… or not.
I guess that's why always ignore the romance in K-drama, because P-drama is the same. ^_^
LOL. That kiss. Why don't they stop that type of kissing scene in K-drama?
* Guy kisses passionately, trying to evoke some reaction from the girl. * Girl remains nonchalant. Nada. Zero. Zilch.
Don't they see that it makes the guy appear committing sexual harassment? And the girl can't do a thing about it, but to let the guy kiss her against her wishes?
Is it seriously like that in reality? Don't they slap the guy who kisses them?
Another thing that's weird. You can't just touch the opposite sex even if they give you permission, say, to hold their hands, but you can kiss them and hug them against their wishes?
If you compare the two, Hong Su Zu didn't get a main role “that quickly”.
Hong Su Zu: * 2020 - Guest * 2023 - Guest * 2024 - Main
Choi Hee Jin: * 2018 - Main * 2018 - Support in a Movie * 2018 - Support * 2019 - Main * 2020 - Guest * 2021 - Support * 2021 - Guest in a Movie * 2021 - Main in a Movie * 2021 - Support * 2022 - Main in a Movie * 2023 - Guest * 2023 - Guest * 2023 - Support * 2024 - Support in the same series as Hong Su Zu.
The point is, if they perform well and got the attention of the casting director, the writer, and the show director, then they'll get the roles, be it Main, Support, or Guest.
It's also possible someone recommended her and when she auditioned, she impressed them and saw she fits the role.
The title should've been "The Military Uprisings in Goryeo". Uprising 1 and Uprising 2.
That's correct, it was a war composed of three invasions.
The show started a year or two (I can't remember) before the 2nd War started, and long after the 1st war ended.
The 2nd War were the years: 1009-1010, 1015, 1016, 1017 (invasions).
The 3rd war started in 1018 and ended in 1019, after a massive defeat of the Khitans. It was in the 3rd war that the General Kang became a hero reveared to this day. But there are only 4 episodes left to do him justice, os expect a lot of skips and less "warfare" scenes. They'll probably just make it dramatic.
The current king, he ruled during the 2nd and 3rd wars, and a few years after the war.
1. She's not your property. 2. If you're damn slow, the more you have no right to complain and assert yourself. 3. She never asked for you so don't assume. 4. If you're intruding in someone else's home, leave things the way they are.
If I was the 1ML, I'll nail it in his head he almost killed the "love if his life", and tell him, "you don't love her, you're obsessed". If he doesn't leave her alone voluntarily after that, I'll call a mental hospital.
Ehh? Too much time wasted on internal politics instead of the war.Well, I guess that's because it's based on a…
Looks like the 3rd Goryeo-Khitan War is nothing but a footnote. 4 episodes left. How can they give justice to Gen Kang? They didn't even show what the king did to win the hearts of the people. It was winning the hearts of the people that greatly contributed to them winning against the Khitans, and it was all due to the king. He did well.
And Gen Kang was the key in winning against the Khitans. 4 episodes for that? Probably just 3, because 1 episode will be spentwith politics and "victory" party.
They should've just let Mr. Arse handle her instead of adding an extra just to remove the witness.

Someone please explain what's going on. ^_^;;

Secondly, even if they are as you claim them to be, what's wrong with that? That's their choice.
LOOP IT!
