At first I thought it was a bit too silly, but over time it won me over! 1. I love the ML, he's so handsome! And I really like that he's the more vulnerable one 😁. 2. I also love the strong but sweet FL (her stupidity is just a bit tiring) 3. The plot is very interesting and different which is refreshing 4. Some of the humor is really funny 5. The dog is so cute 😍. 6. I just wish it was a bit longer, I wanted to see them develop a bit more romantically (living together as a couple, maybe have kids or something)
This story is certainly different, quite refreshing in my opinion.
ML is a playboy who enjoys life, and FL makes a deal with his mom to “tame” him.
1. I really like the clothing style in this drama 2. ML and FL are both worth watching 3. the plot is interesting but sometimes a bit silly (FL should really go to a doctor about her weak legs, seeing how she is able to trip over air and fell 3 times lol)
Such a sweet drama!! 1. it's mostly about kissing 😋. 2. ml is a fabulous actor and just looks good all around ❤️ 3. it's a shame this drama is so short. The basic plot is interesting enough and it would have been nice to see it in a more detailed version
The ML is f*cking handsome and a feast for my eyes, but sadly, the plot isn’t worth it. The ending in particular just sucks. (Don’t keep reading if you don’t want to know!) After XY years of leaving FL, ML just comes back like it's the most normal thing in the world. And FL just goes along with it. Right. Totally normal 🙄
I loved the general idea of this drama and the actors were great, BUT....
I'm so pissed.
They set up the relationship perfectly up to a point and then it just didn't progress, leaving it at a level of very good friends and deep companionship, but nothing more. They completely tuned out any kind of sexual physical chemistry and intimacy. There was ONE very poorly acted and obviously fake kiss in a drunken state and nothing else. Did they loathe the idea of these two actors being together too much or what? They didn't even hint at anything more, no pregnancy, nothing. Are you kidding me?
That was the biggest disappointment for me and totally missed the basic idea of the plot in my opinion.
Too big for my taste. I mean, there are far worse MLs out there, but considering this ML is usually a rather warm-hearted character, it was annoying... I didn't like his attitude (know-it-all, manipulative, ...) Can't really describe it, but it got on my nerves lol
The story was also just mediocre. FL is supposed to be a well-trained master, but weak against ML? 🤦♂️ Nope, I've seen better from them.
Although I really appreciate ML, I'm tired of the “lets hide the kids from their father just for pure selfishness” plots. This drama seems especially tiring because of the plot holes and unreasonableness.
Hmm. The plot had potential (started out well), but it lacked spice and the biggest plot hole (and disappointment) was that there was absolutely no reason for FL to suddenly like ML at all.
Generally, I really like ML, but I'd recommend you watch another drama with him as the lead instead.
In my opinion, this is the most disappointing spin-off ever! What the hell, they didn't solve anything, it was just a waste of time! And Takara seemed depressed the whole episode, that hurt to see. Is it that hard to give Japanese BL characters a proper happy ending? Damn it 😤😑 (and I know they're together, but there's still a lot of space between this and a perfect happy ending aka traveling around the world together or something)
I spent FOREVER debating on which picture to use for each actor (・・;)ゞFor me, it’s Fort, but Higuchi is…
A job well done 🫶 I thought about it for a very long time and even looked at pictures of their roles to finally make a decision, and in the end I went with Higuchi lol ❤️❤️❤️
At the beginning I liked the main couple very much. Later on, Jane's character started to seriously annoy me. The repetitive “you can ask me anything” while he never really talks /opens up to Ryan just got on my nerves. Also, he literally put no thought into Ryan at all, he just did what he liked, how is that supposed to be a foundation of a healthy relationship? To me, the whole thing felt totally one-sided on Ryan's part....
And another thing: I didn't care about the other characters at all. The part about the girl kissing people who aren't her partner was completely unnecessary in my opinion.
Overall, it would have been much better if they had focused more on Ryan and Jane’s relationship and not left everything to the last episode.
Conclusion: Great actors, the plot had potential, but it just went nowhere (just expressing my opinion, don’t feel offended if you have another)
At first I was pleasantly surprised. The actors looked good and the acting was good enough for me. But later I had the feeling that this series had too many episodes. It became boring and dragged on. The worst part: In my opinion, the chemistry between the main actors was just horrible. Emotionally, it fell flat.
Conclusion: I liked the Japanese version much better.
Okay, I don't think this is for me. I'm only 3 episodes in and I'm already annoyed at the length of the show (because I'm still wondering what the main plot is supposed to be and think that fewer episodes would have forced them to pick up the pace a bit) and I'm especially annoyed by the strange behavior of the characters. I'm not sure if it's bad actors or the way the writers wrote them. But it’s just awkward and annoying to watch imo

But I really like the mains and the plot was refreshing, so it was watchable
