The FL is super cute, but I didn't warm up to the ML and I didn't feel much chemistry between the two. The FL kept me going but overall the plot was a bit too boring for my taste.
Could someone please tell me if the movie has a proper ending (or is it more of an open ending)? (I would especially like to know if the ML ends up with someone? 🤔)
It's the: “We've been married for xy years, but ML has been treating me weird and I think he's in love with someone else, so we're getting divorced” plot.
Of course it's all just a big misunderstanding, as usual. I’ve seen better, I’ve seen worse adaptations 🤷♂️
Rating for the first half of the drama: 1. ML's mask looks ugly, but ok 2. the actors are great and their characters are very well written!!! I love FL's cleverness and ML's deliberate overlooking of her plans lol 3. the plot is very well done in my opinion! It's a nice mix of a bit funny, clever and romance. 4. the chemistry between the main characters is ❤️❤️❤️ and the development of their relationship feels realistic. Their love for each other is too cute 😍. And they get together about halfway through the drama and not in the last few seconds like so often
Rating for the second half: After the leads get together the drama seems to lose focus.. the plot becomes weird and a touch too silly for my taste. But overall, I’d recommend to give it a try!
What I liked 1. I love that they’re equally crazy 2. I love the tough FL 3. I love the simplicity of their love/romance
What I didn't like 1. the little airtime they have as a couple 2. the slow progression of their relationship 3. the too short ending 🙁 (I mean... why didn't they get revenge on the father?)
overall, I'd prefer it if it was a bit more about romance/ the couple... but the plot is varied enough and the ML is great as always, so it was worth the watch
ML is a feast ❤️ Loved the FL as well! The plot of this one was quite interesting, but unfortunately the ending came up way too short. They could have made the ending much better than this 😕. (If you want to know about the end, see spoiler below, please)
10–11 years (but the younger one seems much more mature when you compare the behaviors 😅)
Not much happens between the two characters until the last episode (there are a few kisses there). Overall, the older one seems quite wooden and indifferent to the younger one (I guess that's down to the actor himself), so the age difference doesn't really matter imo. I'd say just give it a go and watch a few episodes to see if you like it.
OMG, this is so boring! So much insipid fluff is unbearable and we are getting swamped under a wave of such dramas....What…
I also miss Japanese dramas like Taikan Yoho, and I still wonder what happened. I thought they would finally evolve and become bolder, but no, this drama is more of a step backwards 😔
I will always enjoy Japanese BLs, but this one was a bit underwhelming for me
Let me add a few things....
1. the actor of Isumi is amazing, he did a fantastic job, I totally fell in love with this cute guy ❤️ 2. everyone should have a friend like Yohei 😌🫶 3. kyosuke's character seemed a bit weird to me. I don't know if it was the actor or how the character was written, but he seemed distant to me. I wish we had gotten to know a bit more about his thoughts. My biggest problem with him was that he didn't show any sexual interest or deeper emotions at all imo.... and that makes me wonder how this relationship is going to work out. It would have been more than nice if it had been 12 eps and the last 3 had been used to show how they build their relationship together 😕
...hmm... 🤔 I like the idea, I mean stepbrother-stepsister love is kind of a classic lol. It makes the plot interesting enough, but I was really annoyed by ML's unreasonable behavior 🙄 in my opinion it would have been better if they stopped it halfway, revealed everything and continued with a teamwork plot, but well.... it is what it is.
