It's not ai~ If you watch the BTS, you'll see that they filmed at the beach, but it was cloudy and possibly early. They CGId it into a sunset A_A I guess they didn't have the time to refilm or something, but it looks really, really weird to me, too!

I heard some stuff that really wasn't my taste and decided to stop reading ir while I still was on chapter 15 or something >_>

I think it was a somewhat cloudy morning and they made it into golden hour with CG >_> (I actually compared the scenes side by side this time) I guess they didn't have the time to reshoot but wanted it to look a certain way!

Did you have the chance to check the BTS? I miss these two a bunch (the actors, not the characters), so I'm thinking about rewatching them lol

Don't watch Suspicious Partner (mainstream straight couple k-drama) then :X I wanted something with prosecutors, decided to give it a try and the police/prosecutor's team are a joke - only the Taeseon-equivalent is any good there /random rant

I legit thought that beach was CGI until I watched the BTS (you should watch that, as well as their other videos together opening toys, describing each other and other fanservice-y nonsense) and saw that they were really at a pretty beach. I think they might have over-edited it or something.

If you like this, you should watch ChermChey - and vice versa. They're similar - in sense of humor and cinematography, mostly. (It's the same director.)
I wish more stuff happened this episode, and I really don't like how Sarm didn't say how he got off that boat to rescue Jam - again. At least his family noticed Mark's character is freaky sus really early in the story, but I feel like this arc could have been done in a different, more significant way.

I don't really like the random donor being that important, either. It's one of those contrivances that make a story weaker, even though I sensed from a mile away that would be the case since it's such a trope-y thing to do...
I agree that Jihwan's mom and Ganguk's grandma seem to have a strong bond. Maybe they became close after Jihwan's death, and the mom keeps an eye out for the man who has her son's heart? Let's wait and see, I guess (btw, I like so many of your comments on this show - you're like me, you're paying close attention!)

I love Yeori's engagement dress this time around. She looks like she came out of the cover of one of those pseudo-period books in which the protag has to run from ghosts or vampires in her nightgown in the middle of the night (and yes, that's good IMO). Kinda Crimson Peak, but make it 2026.

I agree that it kinda seemed like Jihwan's superstitious grandma and Ganguk's superstitious grandma are the same person - but if so, Ganguk would also be Minhwan's cousin (though Minhwan is adopted), and I think they would know if it was the case. Or maybe there's a reason they don't know? What's your theory?

I'm sure Minhwan caused that accident - and I'm even more sure that Jihwan was the one who warned Ganguk by writing that message on his mirror when Yeori was kidnapped. I'm pretty sure he's been all for their relationship for a while now. Good ghostie [?]

And, as most of us expected, they confirmed that Ganguk's current heart [?] was Jihwan's heart! I'd like Yeori to find out, too...

Waiting for eventual confirmation that Minhwan sabotaged the yacht or did something else to cause the accident that killed Jihwan and almost killed Yeori, and to see if I'm right about why Jihwan scared her ex-fiancé but not Ganguk. I think he's on their side, and perhaps just as important, against his brother. (And, if so, he wasn't the one who messed with the elevator this time.)

Are we supposed to think the grandma who wanted Jihwan to wear the necklace is also Ganguk's grandma? I saw some people assuming that because both of them are superstitious, but I don't think so. If so, Ganguk would also be Minhwan's cousin and they would know that.

This episode had me very stressed. I thought Lil' Jane wasn't gonna get the job because I was imagining it'd go like the novel, but the second he did, I was like, "oh no, his boss is gonna be Patrick," et voilà, there he was! I was uncomfortable for so long after the reveal; I actually watched a couple of scenes through my fingers like it was a horror show (and I love horror, so I really don't do that at all) @_@

I only stopped cringing my life away when P'Jane talked to Nong Jane about the extra work he was doing for those two assholes. They had that coming, it was a 10/10 moment from papi~

I hate Lil' Jane's coworkers SO MUCH. I've met a bunch of people like that (I've had many jobs :P) - they seem super-warm and all so welcoming, and then they try to take advantage of you every single chance they get. If you don't submit, they'll start talking smack about you to others to isolate you, saying you're not a team-player or you're arrogant... It's a freaking classic.

This one has what I would call an attempted rape, but the attacker stopped out of his own free will, so I dunno how to classify it. There's also a couple of smaller SA incidents (like a friend who is way too insistent and tries to put moves on someone who is not having it and they end up fighting) There hasn't been any cheating or people acting like players. There is a boss-subordinate relationship and a 7-8 years age gap, if those bother you - I myself don't mind.

It really isn't as toxic as KinnPorsche (I quit that one because VegasPete gave me the ick), much less Double Helix (love the actors, couldn't deal with the captivity arc in the show)

Omg, it's my first time seeing Little Jane's comments and it made me too emotional!

I haven't read the book (not my style, really) but I saw a few people talking about what would happen after the timeskip if it followed the book, and I was not looking forward to it at all. I much prefer what the adaptation went with :D
