Folks talk about "plot holes" w/r/t this drama, but as someone who hates 'em and watches pretty rigorously…
Agreed. They aren't plot holes, they are small, perhaps a bit annoying, contrivances to cause the effects they want - make us thing Ganguk died, for example. They don't fully make sense, but it's not important enough for the plot to count as a plot hole imo. I'm with you on that.
ha ri has a brother. I believe their mother , the one doing art scams, is trying to dethrone yeori so their own…
Nope. The guy she was engaged to is the one Minhwan told not to go to the meeting, the one her cousin talked to. Minhwan's brother is the one who died in the same incident that made her start seeing ghosts, and his name was Jihwan. Jihwan's ghost was the one that almost drowned her ex-fiancee in the elevator in the first episode.
Right? Get the saran wrap...! (I'll never forget that) Plus, their lips touched once and nothing happened, so…
That should make things much easier, as long as Jihwan's ghost doesn't try to scare Ganguk off (and I don't think he will, because I think Ganguk has his heart)

The conceived one isn't the ex-fiancee - it's Jihwan, the man who drowned in the same accident that caused Yeori to see ghosts. He's now the ghost that uses water to scare people (he drove her ex-fiancée away). Both brother, Jihwan and Minhwan, liked Yeori.
I keep thinking about Pushing Daisies. I mean if they could make a relationship work where they could never touch…
Right? Get the saran wrap...! (I'll never forget that) Plus, their lips touched once and nothing happened, so maybe the issue is 'only' with her hands?
But if the heart is Jihwan's, as it seems to be, it explains a lot - including who wrote that message to Ganguk on the mirror when Yeori was in danger.
TrueI also suspect the water ghost at the start is jihwan and the reason he is still around has something to do…
It's him for sure! He drowned and now uses water to scare people, though I dunno why he's so powerful or why he targeted her ex. It might have been just jealousy, but there might be something else...
I second the horror aspect. At first he was put into a box and now he is being treated like a vessel. Not being…
I think there's so much to do, especially if he isn't pregnant this early! I wrote a long comment on how I'd do it (or how I'd write a fixit fic, using your term <3), perhaps you could check it and see if you agree with some of the plot points?
I'm still wondering if I should watch Kidnap. Was it an okay show?
I vaguely remember some drama around him pairing with someone who had been paired with someone else and people blaming him (Ohm, I guess)? I wasn't really into Thai BL until the beginning of this year, so I don't know much about that. I do agree that he seems happy and I like his chemistry with August.
I have two main theories rn. I don't know if they're completely obvious or if I'm overthinking everything, and I have no experience with this specific fandom. I've looked through the most recent comments and didn't find many people talking about this, so I decided to leave my current thoughts here:
a) I'm convinced Minhwan made the yacht sink because he wanted to get rid of his brother since they were in constant competition - he thought Jihwan was the favorite, natural son, and wanted to take his place. If so, Yeori was just a casualty of his successful murder attempt - so he's to blame for her seeing spirits AND for Jihwan becoming a ghost and haunting the people she gets involved with. Dude turned her life upside down, basically. b) I think it's pretty obvious that Ganguk has Jihwan's heart and that's why Jihwan hasn't haunted him despite his emotional proximity to Yeori. And, of course, I believe he was also the one who used the mirror to alert Ganguk when Yeori got kidnapped.
those blue contacts on luke were beautiful, but it looked like they were really irritating his eyes😬Also, question:…
They aren't cousins. One of his parents was related to one of the annoying mom's relatives, but it's been implied that it's a more distant relationship and that they might not even have taken him in if his father wasn't a noble (or at least that's what I understood)
I won't mind if Thun isn't the culprit, but a red herring (though I'd argue that Kaye is the realest red herring, and if you look at YT comments, too many people are very invested in that), since he got a lot of focus last episode and caught more people's attention. But I'll be pretty annoyed if
a) it actually is (alleged) Kaye's secondary personality (because that's lazy, repetitive, and extremely obnoxious for real people who suffer from DID and are tired of seeing all characters like them reduced to serial killers or creeps) b) is a small thin woman (unless there are no more murders and she was physically helped by Kim in the previous ones, or she has other assistants) who couldn't lift 40 kilos, much less pull those murder scenes off.
