clearly I don't care how Minato handled it. the only cast lead is the character SOU. he'll be the one who ends…
Tsumugi isn't an object that needs to be given or taken by anyone, she's her own person and she will decide whatever the hell she wants. Also some stories aren't about who ends up with who but the characters journey and growth but I guess some people aren't here for this.
the score has only be rated by few people so don't rely on it
Yeah I noticed the 6 was voted by only one viewer, now it went up as more people watched it which makes more sense. I hope those who watched will comment with their thoughts so we can understand what worked or not for them
The scene where the Crown Prince went to the village to meet the Grand Prince (Lee Kang) and they fought the two…
This is my understanding too. This might also explain why he seems more grounded and less naive with a better grasp of their reality unlike his other brothers who lived a rather sheltered life in the palace.
Sorry but this would be nonsense. Did you not see the queen's reaction? How can she possibly not know her prince was born a girl and has been in disguise?
I enjoyed the first episode a lot and I can't wait to see how the rest of the story will unfold, tho I worry already about wherher it will sustain itself or not for 10 episodes. I hope they have enough material and substance to keep the quality consistent for the whole run.
I finally gathered the emotional strength to watch the last episode or so I thought. I couldn't stop tearing up through out as if all the heaviness the characters carried was weighing on me as well. This was an odd journey, I can't find the right words to describe. I was so upset post-ep6 but I couldn't really hate any of them. The show has this rawness to it, it doesn't romanticize or embellish, it just presents these flawed people just as they are in all their moments both good and ugly : complex, conflicting and contradictory because aren't we all like that at some point or another? I won't go into the details of the ending but I liked it. There's the relief of closure and the things gained so they can move forward with life but there's also the sad tinge of regret or maybe nostalgia of what has been lost forever. We started with Mieko and Makio meeting as strangers and we end with them going their separate way (if I'm not mistaken it's the same place in both episodes 1 and 10), maybe not as total strangers again but with an altered bond that will never be the same again. August Is My Name was such a good choice as the final song, it makes me emotional everytime I listen to it now. I didn't expect this drama to impact me this much, I know it will stay with me for the longest time.
also btw why do they still keep in chat with the parents? lmao I would have cut them out of my life and ignore…
For real! That part bothered me so much, that neither In-hye nor the parents even tried to get in touch with them or go back when In-joo went into trial and risked 20 years of prison. Similarly, no sign or a single second spared to see how Hyo-rin reacted to her parents tragic demise, we only see her at the end shining bright as if nothing ever happened
Irozuku announced a while back that they would be subbing the series. Right now it's just a waiting period to…
I'm so glad it's Irozuku! They have my full trust, I have already watched and highly enjoyed previous projects with their subs so whether viki is faster or not doesn't matter anymore lol
I wonder what's happening with viki, things weren't like this before...
This is a timeless movie. Almost 70 years later and it still rings true and everything feels real and relatable. It's very slow and on the surface nothing is really happening but the older you get, the better you understand it and the deeper it touches you.
