i was rooting for yungyeom until he left and i wish the show would bring his character back after they give us a good explanation as to why he never bothered to come back because ngl that's lowkey pissing me off. he's not even hiding somewhere to protect and care for the rescued kids (whatever happened to them btw?!) as i thought but in a whole different country doing who knows what

i also find it odd that the grandma and her often mentioned brother never showed up despite everything that happened to her during years! my understanding is they are in hanyang, nothing happened to them as they were not directly involved, it was the magistrate's family who had its assets confiscated. the servants we see are only the ones who went with lady ok when she got married and became under the magistrate's care i guess

finished ep4 and i admit i didn't expect the thing they did with the husband/magistrate's son. it's nice and i hope we'll get to see more of him and the kids, it would be nice if they were somehow safe and in peace if even in hiding.
i keep getting surprised by the pacing. despite the episodes length, they still pack so much so fast, idk if they can keep it up for the whole 16 episodes

i believe they are twins or something. the same actor is playing two characters

i haven't finished the episode yet, were they tortured to death? because if not, it's clear as day he's gonna come back for revenge

you're right, i forgot they already had her blood before even finding the body! then yes this might be a plot hole

i think they only mentioned she didn't die from strangulation, that's why they knew the teacher lied, but they never said how she died according to autopsy reports. they said little do-yoon's confession matched the evidence so it's implied that's how she died (by poisoning that is)

thanks for replying. i actually agree with you, it seemed to me that what they needed more was closure (like apologize for the way they hurt each other so their wounds can heal and then maybe move on) rather than really getting back together. it felt too easy/lazy just for the sake of a "happy ending"
