Question: Does anyone feel like Yeon Woo's feelings towards Yoo Han are still biased because he is his probe?
It's hard to answer with certainty, it's all too complicated. Like would Yeon-woo have liked Yoo-han even without the mono-probe connection? Maybe but I also don't think his current feelings can be dissociated from it, it's inextricably intertwined.

Out of the 4 mainstream korean BLs, this one ended up being the best which confuses me a lot. There are tons of…
The execution is a bit lacking but I think it's the best for many of us because its concept is creative and fascinating. It has the most unique premise and its story and characters are more complex. It's all very intiriguing and interesting to see even if it suffered from the limited budget and the short format.

Not familiar with the manga but it reminds of Midnight Diner. I hope it's just as good or even better

Considering Yeon Woo just tried to commit suicide because he feared he might do something terrible to Yoo Han,…
The short format really makes it hard to analyse things with certainty. Like is it how it's supposed to be or does it appear like that because they had to cut some parts? I personally think it was just time constraints once again. When he was in the hospital, Yeon-woo does say he spends his time missing Yoo-han so the desire to be with him is still very much there. When Yoo-han shows up, Yeon-woo thinks it's a dream then resists, tho not very strongly, and says they shouldn't be together but then he goes with him. Sure it would have been better if they showed more of his internal struggle but they probably didn't have time and they thought that was enough to relay his conflicting feelings.

I would love a season 2 where we can see them navigating a romantic relationship and also investigating what happened…
Same! And it looks like the novel does that too. I hope there's enough material to adapt into a new season

What a sweet heartwarming finale! I won't nitpick because the episode was actually very nice and they wrapped things up as neatly as they could considering the constraints. I loved how our boys sat and talked to each other and we learnt a little bit more about Yoo-han so we understand him better. Some lines they said were also very beautiful and it's a relief they found some sense of normalcy, they should have done this from the start but then we won't have a drama xD
I'd like to see a second season but it feels like this is it and I'm not mad about it tbh. Color Rush wasn't without flaws but it grew on me and I will miss them a whole lot.

I didn't find anything too jarring with the editing? I'm curious as to why you think it was bad? Genuinely curious…
Well in episode 7 editing wasn't the biggest problem (it was the most obvious in episode 4, every scene felt so random and the transitions abrupt) but this time the shortness was frustrating. They also changed and mixed certain events from the novel but I understand this wouldn't be a problem for people unaware of the source material. I think I'm being too hard on it, sorry. It's just that I like it a lot and can't help thinking how much better it would be if it was a regular drama with better production. The story and characters are too complex for a short web drama, it doesn't do it justice but I'm not blaming anyone here, I know they're doing their best with what they have.

Every week I find myself struggling with the same conflicting emotions because on the one hand I just LOVE the premise of this drama and the story has such a huge potential but on the other hand I also wanna tear my hair out from frustration at the way it's butchered because of time constraints and terrible editing T__T
This being said I quite enjoyed episode 7 and Yoo-han's confession was sweet. I sort of saw what Yeon-woo did coming but it was still sad to see him spiral like that :(
Maybe now if he gets the affirmation that Yoo-han wants to be with him forever, then he can open up and let him in and stop having dark thoughts about either hurting himself or Yoo-han.
It looks like the last ost's MV gave away a good part of the last episode but I still wonder how they're gonna end it : clean and neat or open for another season.

Title Mr. Queen
I wouldn't be surprised if they did mental gymnastics to keep the original queen and the modern man as separate…
You know, your comment reminded me of one of my all time favourite, Painter of the Wind. It is serious and didn't shy away from exploring questions about gender and sexuality and seemed to go for the higher values like you said where the essence of a person went beyond gender. It's a sageuk from 2008 but it feels more progressive than current shows (Moon Geun-young and Moon Chae-won even won best couple, the first same-sex pairing on public tv!) and I think I unconsciously keep comparing any body-swap/crossdressing drama to it because it raised the bar that high.

It's complex indeed and these questions are hard to answer. For me, the king is undoubtedly in love with Bong-hwan's personality/soul but he's "seeing" him in a woman's body so he has no reason to have an identity crisis but it also begs the question : if he learnt the truth or met Bong-hwan in his male form, would he still love him? Or does the apparent gender affect the nature of feelings? Also, what about So-yong in all this? Is it fair to her that now the king seems to love her back but he's not exactly in love with the real her? I don't know, it's quite fascinating and interesting to think about all this and I lowkey wish it wasn't comedy so some of these questions could be explored more seriously

Title Mr. Queen
I'm starting to have problems with this drama... what are they doing with the queen and the guy inside her? is…
I wouldn't be surprised if they did mental gymnastics to keep the original queen and the modern man as separate people/souls just to keep them straight but I personally don't care, I will keep on believing the current queen is basically Bong-hwan with traces of So-yong's memories and emotions and is now bi, both in love with the king and still attracted to women. This is my headcanon and I know I will be disappointed but I won't change it.
