Titled: Rekindled ML: Wang Kai Mu FL:Deng Ling Min Rating: 9.5 Genre: Second Chance at Love
Review: Another great performance by Wang Kaimu and Deng Ling Shu. I appreciate that they acknowledged the miscommunication and didnt spend half the show running around in circles. her dad died. they cant change that but they can choose their future and they pair well together. I was a bit confused about his family's plot line. They seemed more central to the story but were left out. Maybe they didnt make it out of the editing room's cutting floor? Either way their story felt unbalanced in the overall plot lines. I liked the cat and the grading system, it added a unique flair to a miscommunication trope that is overly used in chinese vertical drama entertainment.
title: Everything About Secretary Li rating/year: 9 04/2026 genre: revenge drama Network: iQiYi ML: Chen Si FL: Fang Jin Review: An enjoyable easy watch this revenge drama is a good watch after a long stressful day. No ridiculous kidnappings or overused tropes; just two main leads with very very good chemistry. Im not sure if it was the version I watched but there was music that didnt really match the show. Im also not a fan of chinese music in general... tags: revenge, hea, mistress, parents death https://youtu.be/QzdRwyjBDqc?si=M2L1DHXyrNt7-W-2 iqiyi: https://share.google/wgxzPNsL6xHZD63b7
Title: Spring Harbor, Night Rain 02/2026 ML: Yao Guan Ya FL: Zhao Xixi You know when you eat something really good and you get this ""hangover"" after? That's how I feel. my cheeks hurt from smiling for three full hours. It's a love story that overcomes family, the media industry, and two career-minded people. There's no crazy obscene scenes. No one is kidnapped or harmed. Just two adults adulting and finding happiness in each other. Okay, I'm going to get an ice pack for my aching cheeks before I watch it again. Seriously, that was amazing: story, writers, directors, producers, and ACTORS. Thank you for subtly alluding to the nightmare that is the entertainment industry and that most do not ""make it."" Even when they do; are they happy? I appreciated the female comraderie as we all know what we're always up against and that only when we support each other (even if we dont agree with the choices) can we properly break the ""glass ceiling."" Thank you to everyone who worked on this.
