I really don't understand the story with Yeon Seok. He messed up a dish, she took the blame and he ghosted her? Is that the whole story we've been told? Doesn't seem like enough to me for her complete animosity towards him and her basically in hiding.

Just finished ep 1 and it's crazy the amount of chemistry you can feel between the sisters. Bo Young is doing amazing at making them seem like real twins

It took me 3 or 4 days to finish ep 1 and 2. Ep 3 on, it had my complete attention and counting days until it aired again

The ending episode was done well imo. They ended the storylines well enough to where the drama feels finished, but also left some ambiguous enough that a 2nd season can explore them more.

As much as I wanted to see the SaBi and JaeIl relationship happen, the scene with DaHye getting flustered and running away was cute af.

I'm glad that Dr Myung is so upset about not getting promoted, that she can't hide her pettiness in front of the professors any more. I was kind of hoping that something serious would happen to her, she deserves a lot more than just getting passed on a promotion. Would have been cool to see something happen with that documentary that made her issues public.

One complaint though, I know it was realistic, but I wish Yi Yeong's sister was actually pregnant at the end. Her and her husband are so sweet and deserved a happier ending.

Yeah, this is probably one of the more coherently written dramas I've seen recently. I'm curious if there's going to be a twist in the mystery though, it seems pretty cut and dried already as to who did what and imo it's just not interesting when you know everything in the first couple episodes and just watch the mains figure it out

I think it's because they don't know what she knows. The ML has dreams of it since his eyes are Bom's mothers, but other than the blackout drunk scene where he punched the CEO, he hasn't put it all together, or even conciously remembers it.

The CEO and doctor have different reasons. The CEO is worried that even if Bom doesn't remember, those 2 spending time together might jumpstart his memory, and in turn make her reopen the investigation. The doctor wants her gone imo more for guilt than anything. He was always okay with his son hanging out with her until he learned that her mom was who he killed. His other issues with his son were just a handy excuse to try and force them apart

It's okay so far, but I am so sick of the purposely being the bad guy even though it's the ex's fault plot line. It's getting really over used

That was just Yi Yeong flirting. He was telling her to do the "kimchi" thing and actually smile, but she grabbed his hand saying this is the only way I'll smile. They aren't a couple at that time. There's also weeks/months time gaps between all the episodes, so some relationship development happens that aren't shown

Still too early imo to tell how bad he'll be, but so far he is the stereotypical asshole sibling that's fighting for heir

ML is the perfect charicature of a bully. Complete Ahole to everyone then complete coward as soon as he feels even slightly threatened. He also looks mid 20s and mid 40s at the same time to me lol.

About half way through ep 1, and it's got potential. Better start than a lot of romcoms that came out this year

I actually had to pause from laughing so hard when he was running. I've never seen someone run like that and it was so damn funny

I think the intro graphics in ep 1 said he's 33, and she's 28 IIRC. It's an extremely realistic age gap in the drama. Even their real age gap isn't bad imho

Really hoping that reality shows first episode airs and shows Yi Yeong in the right. Public shame is the only thing that will work on someone like Dr. Myung

Especially since his hate towards her was because she wanted to watch a rare surgery on her off time. It's not like she was supposed to be in surgery with him, she could have just gone home

Her vision of the future that she had in ep 1 or 2, can't remember which.

She had a vision of her happily in a relationship with Yun Gap (his body, could still be Gang Cheol) and they had a daughter in the vision

I agree. That whole story line was so poorly done. If she was going to wind up doing the self marriage thing anyways, then it made his character pointless, especially with how they ended it. It should have been 1 of 3 plot lines imo..

1) She realizes she likes him and wants a relationship with him and gives up on the self marriage thing.

2) She realizes after dating him for a bit that she can't see herself in a relationship, ends it and does the self marriage thing.

3) He never exists in the story line, she gets her parents to realize she'll never get married and does the self marriage thing.

Instead, they decided to do option 4, which is where she's in a relationship with him, but married to herself. Which makes no sense and completely ruins any character growth she could have had. If anything, it actually was the opposite

I've never heard of it either before this drama, not my normal genre, but it's definitely korean lore, according to my googling. The whole 1000 year thing to become a dragon and snake-like serpent thing is from the lore, but they weren't known for possessing humans, and were actually good spirits. The possessing thing is creative for the show and not lore
