It doesn't feel like anythings been cut, at least yet. So they are either doing an amazing job of only removing filler, or the cuts will be later in the show imo. Hoping for the former

She's a bad mom, but at least so far, she's not even in the top 100 of bad mothers I've seen in dramas. She's a successful, wealthy mom that has a 20's daughter who, in her eyes, has done nothing with her life. I can see where she is coming from a little bit, because Zhi even said in the show that she was making barely anything when she worked for the comic company, so her mom didn't see it as a real career. I don't agree with her, but I can see the POV she's playing

It's a recent thing on MDL to seriously down vote running shows for some reason. There's also a lot of people that don't like Esther's voice and mannerisms and are basing their rating solely on that. I can believe that some of them never heard of Esther, saw how she is, stopped watching and downvoted; but I'm sure there's a lot more of them that just can't stand her (it's fair, her personality isn't for everyone) and downvote everything she does (not fair)

She is, I meant in the scenes in ep 8 when she was thinking about who to call. She even contemplated calling her old editor from the place that fired her, but it never showed her think about or try to call Shan, even though she knows that she's willing and knows much more about the subject than herself or anyone else she knows (other than Chong ofc)

Chongs friend group are not the national team. And I didn't really expect Shan to be in the office with Zhi, she lives like 2500KM away. I thought it was weird how it didn't even show Zhi think about asking her for help though when she was sitting there thinking of someone to call for help on her new comic.

The voice is just Esther's voice. There's actually videos of her answering a phone call of someone on camera, and not even knowing that it's being filmed, sounds exactly the same. (Not the point of said videos, just using it as proof it's just her)

According to MDL calendar, it's 1 a day Sat and Sun, then goes back to 2 a day on Mon

I'm guessing human, but I don't know for sure. There are errors of course, but AI translations are usually very obvious with how bad they are. One good tell is the names, if they are consistantly using their names instead of a translation of the names meaning, it's usually a human that subbed it

Did I miss something? I really don't understand why Duo has a problem with Chong. It seemed like he was mad because Chong retired in his prime, but Chong retired because of his injury and his sister's accident. Duo was there for his injury and recovery, is dating Shan and is a pseudo member of the family. I feel like he should completely understand why Chong quit when he did and his anger and hatred towards him makes no sense to me, unless I missed something

it was good imo until 3, pretty good until like 6, then nosedived for the 2nd half. They changed every character trait, made the whole team completely incompetent (like 4 people under their protection died) and gave at best a luke warm ending, but acted like it was the happiest ending possible

I love it when the mains actually have a good relationship with their siblings, it seems pretty rare in asian dramas. I also loved how Shan picked up immediately that they both liked each other and subtly started playing matchmaker.

It seems like his entire family has a great dynamic and relationship. Zhi's family we haven't seen enough of, but it doesn't seem like it's bad. Her mom is a bit much, but it seems like she just wants the best for Zhi, and that's a very common attitude for any mother. I'm interested to see more of her families dynamic.

If both families are just normal families, I will actually be shocked, but happy lol
