The forced arranged marriage thing is so annoying to me in a lot of shows, but this one is taking the cake for me. I can't remember how long they have been married, but it's been a while and they have never actually spoken, he intensly hates her for no reason, she can't deal with everything any more and they both just want to be free of all this yet grandpa is just like "Oh, just take a short vacation and everything will be fine. No divorce." Like dude, forcing them to stay together isn't going to get you anything you think it will.
What is the reason he hates her so much anyways? I know she put the divorce on hold because of her family issues, but he hated her way before the drama even started and I don't understand or remember why at all lol
It’s nice for a k drama to depict a workplace that is not toxic. The way they handled the conflict was refreshing…
I was actually thinking about how shocking the work culture is there. Usually, esp in smaller companies like Peoplez, the culture all comes from the top down, yet everyone is tightknit and friendly except the CEO who can only remember 3 employees names lol.
ML is changing her ofc, but they were that close even before she started to change
I feel so bad for the 2FL. She better get a happy ending too. It's obvious that she likes ML, and she is honestly a catch in every single way, her only sin is not being 1FL lol.
I really like the show, but can't get over the fact the biggest promise/perk that made him take the job was family time and he is ALWAYS the last one in the office lol
I'd be willing to bet she didn't drive her teacher crazy lol. The teacher was probably delighted that Soo Bin cared enough to get it right and make it look natural
why does Ji U have some kind of flash trauma and why did mom cut her hand (no why did she cut moms hand) so she…
I took it as they all have "triggers" depending on their powers. Like Doona triggers her "dreamworld" by shouting attention, Ji U's "seeing red" happens with a flash. It's not trauma from her past I don't think
Same! Granted I got spoiled for novel spoilers before I saw the episode but even then I was like "sure, I guess?"…
And as much as I didn't care for the Argan/Sa Eon missing plot, it was in the novels story. They also had to have actual (viewers watching) time separation too imo. If they just time skipped and then brought Sa Eon back at the end of 11 or beginning of 12 it would have felt so artificial and added to the problems ep12 has with criticism
HDL does NOT need a 2nd season. IMO, if anything it would hurt the success of the new drama because every little thing would be compared to S1, and the story was completed already. A new IP set in that universe would work, but Min Si being the "new ManWol" would be horrible imo.
ManWol was who she is because of all the time "alive", it wouldn't be the same to have a newly dead person taking the reins
edit... Not bashing on Min Si, I love her and can see her playing a role like Man Wol. I just think if she does, it needs to be a new IP
iam just curious for people who wanted sa eon to run the psycho Wouldn’t he just get shot him or hee joo or…
Real Sa Eon was in front center of the vehicle so the odds of blowing a tire before the car hits him is extremely close to 0 and even if he did get the shot he'd still be run over. Reaction times aren't instant. A man wielding a knife has a greater chance of stabbing a man with a gun if he's within 21 ft and the attacker. With real Sa Eon being within 10ft of the bumper, even getting a shot off in time would be like F1 drivers level of reflex
You point about them getting shot has a little merit, but all it would take is ML Sa Eon saying something like duck on 3 and then they'd be completely behind the engine and firewall while he runs Sa Eon over.
He also had a 12 Gauge. Depending on what kind of rounds he had in it, there's a chance nothing would even make it through the windshield. I would guess it was loaded with bird-shot because it was one of their skeet guns, and I would assume the only ready ammunition they would have for it. Bird shots lethality drops pretty quickly with distance, let alone through any form of cover, like the windshield

This show is toying with the line of being a softcore corn show at times

Dude was riding his subordinates coattails and is blaming ML because he can't do his own f'ing job?!?
