I think it's because of her attitude. Right from the get-go she is hostile and rude to the ML, even before the ML says/does anything.

She also refuses to acknowledge that she is wrong or apologize for anything she does

ML was out partying while the cops were on a stakeout to arrest a murderer. The murderer cut/stabbed ML's friend when he asked him for a lighter, so ML chased him and they got into a fight with the murderer trying to kill ML. ML defended himself and knocked out the murderer, FL gets there right at that point and beats the shit out of ML and arrests him, unjustly. She refuses to hear his side of the story and it gets leaked to the press that he is in jail, which becomes public during his dads press conference. Police realize the guy he fought was who they were looking for and it was self defense on his part, the police and the company decide to say he was a cop so the police can save face and the company gets good press. Only after they decided that did they tell the ML and FL they were working together

I watch on Prime in the US and haven't had any missing or out of sync subtitles. Maybe there's an app update on the firestick? Or maybe it has a new firmware update? I've watched on PC, Android, and my NVIDIA Shield with no issues with subtitles

She went all the way down to 36kg for this role. As they were filming, she slowly was regaining her weight back to normal, so if you look at a picture of her in ep1 vs ep8, she still looks skinny but not as. She did it for the cancer part

The people that leaked both times were the "little mouse people." Obviously the higher ups wouldn't take the heat, and in the 2 scenarios in the show, they shouldn't. You don't need a scapegoat when the person that actually messed up and leaked is a person you would use as a scapegoat.

In this scenario, him being arrested, then it coming to light that he was unjustly arrested, would be national news and someone has to take the flak for that

1. He wasn't holding the weapon in a threatening manner, or moving towards the "victim", but I'll give it to you since it was a split second decision. Although, at the same time, he wasn't resisting and her use of force was excessive, to say the least.

2. SHE starting the questioning aggressively and set the tone for the interrogation. That entire conversation would have been different if she tried questioning him like a cop, instead of being a smart ass right off the bat. The friend part I'm with you on though.

3. She searched the crime scene WAY later than she should have and only went because job-wise she was already fucked, it was more of a last ditch effort to prove that she was right but turned out to be wrong.

Nielsen Ratings are strictly aired ratings. That's the reason 5% is considered good and 10+% is amazing. Most people watch through streaming any more so shows that used to get like 20+% are usually in the higher single digits now

So what's up with like every cop in the building walking around in the hallways saying confidential information? Yi-Soo is locked up for like 30 minutes and the press already overhears it, turns out the guy he beat up was the murderer, brother overhears it. IRL people get fired quick over that shit

The one I'm watching might have come from Hulu so that might be it. Ep 3 and 4 didn't have the jumps like like 1 and 2 did

Is it just me or are the jump cuts between scenes jarring? The story is good so far but the jumps feel very high-school production-ish to me
