Absolutely, I'm over it too. I mean Park's Marriage Contract, My Demon and this came out the same day (or at least close) and they all had a murder mystery built into the show. Like, why? You can have romcom without a "dark side"

It's a decent 1 time watch. Don't expect anything amazing or profound. If you just turn your brain off and enjoy it it's good enough to watch once. 7/10

The only one that had a purpose was the one that became a dog. And that was just in the start so he had a reason to see BR. Giving BR any profession other than vet and he becomes useless. Dong-pals only purpose I could see was to tell him about getting shot with the arrow to stop the metamorphosis, but the child god could have told him? And it would have made more sense that way? Dong-Gu's entire purpose was to have irritating filler imo. I hate that character more than I hate most bad guys in other dramas.

The 2ML was agitating throughout the whole show. How many times does someone have to say I don't like you before you leave it alone? Why not do your f'ing job instead of stalk ML, especially when your job is to catch the guy that wants to kill the girl you "love"

The serial killer plot was kind of the driving force behind the story, but I agree they should have given it the attention it deserves instead of piecemealing it into the show

The past life parts were annoying af, There were only 2? maybe 3 scenes from the past life, but we saw them at least once an episode. How many times do I need to see 2 guys watch a girl catch a leaf? Once. That's it

IMO, if they stopped at 10 or 12, got rid of the room mates, got rid of past life or at least mention it A LOT less, and made 2ML at least somewhat decent, it would be a 9/10 instead of the 7/10 I'm giving it

Exactly. And they showed that she is going this way too. Like when she got the CT scan and the doctor was like I told you it was pointless. She obviously forced the issue to get that scan and is planning on continuing to do so

Even if she gets cancer it was shown in ep1 they found it late. If you KNEW you were going to die of cancer in 10 years wouldn't you have routine semi-annual checks? She could still get cancer, but find it almost immediately and have 0 long term effects or death from it

This could just be my bias, but that's probably because Hee-Yeon is the fan favorite (again, at least this fan lol)

The 2 manipulators are still very much the same but it's not overly exaggerated like it is in the 1st episode, especially the constant saves etc

Didn't notice this the first time I watched ep5 but it's actually sweeter knowing what is going to happen since Ji-Won's attitude change is making Min-Hwan actually like her lol

Yeah shocked that he was a part of that event would be understandable, I just wish they played it more like that instead of her "realizing" what he did for a living.
Either way, she was trying to reconcile it in her head to be able to forgive him it seemed by her side of the conversation on the walk. It just kinda seemed to me that the writers felt the need to throw a break-up in instead of just keeping them together to the end, which imo was unnecessary for this story

Honestly, the whole "she just realized" thing throws me off a lot. She has been present for both contract signings and contract expirations before, so she knows what he is and what he does already. To me, she just didn't gaf until it affected her personally. Might be lazy writing, or just trying to cram a break up trope into the story, but she can't honestly say she didn't know what he does prior to talking to that priest and them playing it as a "revelation" was just dumb to me

And I'm wholly of the camp that he wasn't keeping being a part of her parents death from her, he just wouldn't remember 1 contract of millions, or even know that it was her parents if he does remember

The ending is complete bullshit

Reporter lady was always morally ambiguous but seriously wtf?
Leaving the psychopath Assemblywoman with basically no consequences, again wtf?
Killing Ji-Hoon was useless and irritating, he shouldn't have died, especially with 2 cops watching
Min might be one of the most aggravating characters I've seen
Professors suicide attempt, then (possible) death, made sense story wise, so I can't complain there at least
The Gaetal Park didn't really fit with the rest of them, it seemed to me he just wanted to kill bad guys, wasn't in it for justice

Pre episode 12 I would have rated this a 9. Episode 12 makes it a 7.5. Horrible ending

I didn't call it a 2nd rate show? I like MMH. I was just pointing out that MMH is going to be bigger than PMR because it has a much higher budget and was actually advertised prior to release.

I also said the 2 shows shouldn't be compared because they are completely different. Nothing I said was false or against MMH

I like a lot of KYJ's outfits in this show. SK on the other hand, I guess it fits since he isn't human, but I can't imagine anyone actually walking around dressed in some of the outfits he wears

Gu- Won is WAY more clingy that Do-Hee. They both are obsessed with each other and clingy but neither is desperate and he is definitely more stuck to her than she is to him
