this will be my thoughts thread.... randomness guaranteed
It is kinda sad that FL went into all of this without a plan whatsoever. But this explains why she is making "allies" with everyone who might seem to be of use in her current situation. She definitely is blinded by rage
I was also bothered by this but the chemistry is way too good...i have surrendered my brain....i am not going…
Might be for the best hahaha. I also wonder if it's played for laughs. I mean it would totally work in an Anime adaptaion. But here as live action it's giving lowkey pushy stalker
I know it's not supposed to be taken seriously... however, the fact that they make Ryoma to be this very accomplished and skilled lawyer but he just overlooks the theft, traspassing and blackmail that is happening to him. That is baffling.
The Ace self-evaluation was odd. I know taste is subjective but personally I was so not impressed with The CrewOne's Ace performance. It was following 2 very distinct and impressive performances and I saw nothing extraordinary compared to those two. Also I have some pet peeve with unintentional/unseless props. That whole lotus flower setup was just there to be there and did nothing to elevate the performance. Same with the hourglass that was pulled out for the last second. Maybe someone can explain to me what I was missing
Edit: I know the hourglass reoccurred later on but I Ace performance is a standalone thing and not the opening act.
I actually was disappointed in Yu this episode. I thought he was old enough to tell Pan that he is dating Ai and…
Also the fact that when someone broke into Ai's home his first response is to call her??? Was she in danger in that moment? NO!!! SHE WASN'T EVEN THERE! Get your priorities straight. I know they were close once but the fact that it was shown that they parted on not so good terms make his actions hard to understand. I would have been really petty and would test him and be like "go look after her and see if she is okay" and look if he dares to do it.
I was on the fence about this drama because I love Shin Hye Sun but don’t like the ML’s acting. And now, seeing…
Banning someone for allegations is plain wrong. We should always "Trust But Verify". Just because people are in the public eye doesn't give us the right to judge and condemn them without questions asked. I am not saying the allegations must be false and of course allegations should be taken seriously. But that is the first step. Listening to the alleged victim and try to uncover the truth. If we all immediately jump to conclusions even innocent people would fall victim to someone who abuses the system. Again I am not saying he must be innocent. But I feel like we often forget that that might be a possibility.
the final storyline with the "murder" (which wasn't a murder because the person was still ALIVE) really dragged the whole show down in my opinion. We get it lying is bad. But because of this bullshit other more important story parts had no time to find a solution. Also the court case was ridiculously dumb.
He took the KRW 4B and also the money Wang Jae Mun owed him (with interest owed for 13 years), which I'm sure…
Maybe I read too much into it...I thought the show was trying to emphasis that he did nothing illegal to get the money. Like him getting his stolen money back (with interest maybe) plus the 4Billion "gift" by the rich lady, that's all fair and square. Maybe he even took the money the other people lost to repay them, which would leave him with his money plus interest plus 4Billion. I mean taking money from a thief is technically stealing and he ain't no robin hood.
way too often writers seem to forget this often fitting word
Edit: I know the hourglass reoccurred later on but I Ace performance is a standalone thing and not the opening act.
I feel like in the grand scheme of the show....this episode as a whole is skippable.
"WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CARES?!?!?!"
I would have been really petty and would test him and be like "go look after her and see if she is okay" and look if he dares to do it.
