Feel bad for my guy Chu Zhao, he could not see the two baddies in front of his eyes.
they kinda ruined his character from the novel, in the novel I didn't much like him either, but he was not as pathetic as he was in the drama, it could've been a better ending
I knew they were gonna change it from the novel, but I dislike how much the ending changed... i think it would've been more interesting if they had kept the 4 battles
what I did like though is them giving Cheng Lisu and Song Taotao more character and making them both be doctors which wasn't the case in the novel as the drama combined two characters into one for each of them, not complaining about Taotao since the other character she's based on was one of the more annoying characters in the novel so glad I didn't have to see her in the drama, but I'm sad we never got to see best boy Lin in the drama since they combined his character with Lisu's which was fine, which worked well for this drama so not gonna complain there, but part of me still wants justice for my best boy Lin
the whole Chu Zhao thing towards the end was so annoying and he turned into such a pathetic character, although I had hope that Yingxiang could have a happier ending in the drama since there was no sleezebag crown prince but alas she still had to die... although I didn't like Chu Zhao's character much in the novel, at least he didn't go behind He Yan's back to try to marry her but instead told her to her face (which she ofc rejected straight away), the whole marriage decree thing executed this way was ridiculous as they could've easily done it the same way as in the novel with the Emperor decreeing the marriage between Pingting and Chu Zhao (b/f XJF was ousted) and also declaring HY and XJ to be engaged too (which was done after it was revealed that He Yan was a woman) but alas drama writers always mess the good things up when adapting
I feel like this series was a bit rushed towards the end, they could've easily made it 38 or even 40 episodes long to tie up some lose ends, I was really looking forward to the war but they didn't really show it, cause it was only in two places here whereas in the novel it was 4 different cities and 4 generals that went to war, I'm sad that Yan He had to die in the drama too, I wish he had at least gotten a happy ending, I really wanted to see more war tactics at play and if they had shown the 4 battles we would've seen some really impressive strategies from He Yan, she really is a tactical genius.
ah well, over all it was a good series, the 2 leads were perfect for their roles so I appreciated that, so I reckon this one is an 8/10 for me
honestly I agree, its very forced and there doesn't seem to be any chemistry between the leads at all. From all…
oh interesting, she definitely doesn't make any sense in the drama either. In fact the only potential love interest is Miss Mo, since he kinda avoids other women. Ah well as long as they don't force it more then its all good, although I doubt it seeing the direction the drama is going lol. nothing worse than a forced love story urgh
I like this drama, it feels like I’m watching an RPG, Harry Potter (sorting hat/choosing a house), Sci Fi (flying…
honestly I agree, its very forced and there doesn't seem to be any chemistry between the leads at all. From all the girls after him the one that I like is obviously Miss Mo and he does care for her but because she's mortal and he's not he can't pursue it, but the way he treats her and the way he treats the other ladies after him is completely different. With the FL its a lot one-sided and idk how things are like in the source material but I don't like it in this drama. There's just something off about the whole thing.
as most have said very promising start, albeit a disappointing conclusion in how they ended the drama. but have to say I love the OST for this drama, so good
also I must say it's refreshing to see the ML fall first and fall hard, love at first sight from the ML is one…
there are definitely a lot more out there but there are also still the FL falls first ones too. As long as the plot and the acting is good I like both.
Really enjoyed ep 18, I'm glad they've finally entered dating era and she's really gotten over the scars of her past thanks to timely intervention by Dr He at all the right moments ahhaha
honestly given how Yang Xian grew up it's not surprising he ended up the way he is, however I think he's really touched by Madam Li and is learning what real familial love is like. The hazing of the sons-in-law Alliance was top notch, even Shen joined in which made it even funnier XD
Leshan and Xian are actually a pretty good match, they just need to learn to accept each other and mature together as a couple. I was surprised to see the character of the Consort, she was a lot nicer than I was expecting, and she clearly loves her little brother a lot, so I hope they get a chance to reconcile. Even though she's got a year to reform him, I'm 100% by the time that the year is up, they would already be madly in love and unwilling to part and I'm all here for that!
Cannot wait for the rest of the episodes to release tomorrow. Definitely going to be a binge-worthy night :D
Shen Hui Zhao investigating the death of a woman buried alive... the irony was not lost on me considering the…
and if you look at episode 28 you can see that one of Yang Xian's sisters looks really familiar, she's Consort Li from The Double, plus i assume that most people have already probably guessed this but Shouhua is literally Jiang Li's younger sister in the Double too, so maybe cross over characters
ahaha I really enjoyed the ending of 28, Yang Xian really doesn't know what he got himself into, can't wait for him to become a wife simp like the other 4 sons-in-law
they are so chaotic together, but I think after this initial phase they might actually bring out the best in each other, as they both have the most obvious flaws out of all the pairings, plus their temperaments are quite hot headed, so I can see chaos in their future XD
ahaha I joked about this the other day with another user in this comments section, there are so many overlaps…
we love that he's alive in this world at least, idk what the scriptwriters were thinking at the end but man I was so disappointed with how it all went down
FE drowned (or not) saving QN. I speculate they were older children, not even early teens at that point and QN…
they also never found his body and Kangning says that she still feels that he is alive somewhere which is that twin sense tingling. So he might still be alive, but no idea why he's been gone so long, how much he remembers and how he is living and with whom. He's definitely not with the Li family's paternal relatives, but I wonder where he would be exactly.

yes The Double was a great drama, although the ending was not quite how I hoped, still I love seeing the characters from there in Perfect Match leading completely different lives with different relationships ahaha
