definitel, it started out so good but they absolutely ruined the ending. So unfortunate, why did they have to change his character so drastically like that? It just didn't fit the story or their relationship at all.
all I want to say is the moment Sejun appeared my first reaction was "oh no" why? because he's exactly my type looks wise (and he reminds me of Zuho whom I love)
also I'm not sure if anyone sees this but I feel like I'm tripping, someone tell me I'm not the only one that thinks Hanbin looks a lot like Nam Joohyuk? cause honestly they could be brothers
I don't think it's as bad as some are made it out to be. I like how yang hua became more selfish as he wants a…
that is true, but I still think getting divorced was not the answer. is it really so easy to get married and divorced in China? how long were they even married for legally? at least in Australia, if a married couple wants to divorce but they have been married less than a year, they can't actually get divorced unless the marriage has lasted more than a year on paper even if the couple is living separately with their own lives. especially given Qin Shi's history with divorce and marriage too.
not saying she was perfect, she had flaws and she was a bit too close to her ex even if they're coworkers, but she always tried to maintain the marriage
the ending just gave me overly complicated feelings It could've been handled better imo, in ways other than outright divorce
honestly if it weren't for the last few epsiodes this would've been an almost perfect drama i have no idea why the writers decided to make Yang Hua divorce her since it was a "fake marriage" that was the stupidest thing ever, plus him not being clear about his ex whenever she asked him she herself literally told him that she had no feelings for her ex even though he was still into her, but why couldn't he do the same?
why after such a mature and understanding relationship, did they go down the jealousy route at the end? makes no sense as it was totally against Yang Hua's character as most people are saying first 35 were good, but cause of the ending it's been bumped down to 8/10
the story was interesting and all the characters played their roles well, but the ending... urgh literally the stupidest thing Yang Hua could do
I do like this adaptation, I do however wish that Jinyoung was a shortie but he's still cute haha The casting has been really well done and even though the story changed a little (Somang becoming a teacher trainee at her alumnus isn't in the webtoon) I like how it's going. I hope we get to see more characters such as Jaehyun, Gaeul and Sunbin come in. Three seasons of the webtoon have been officially released and I'm anticipating the 4th season a lot. Need to know more about Dongchae and the other Winter protags so far this drama is going well though
i really wanted more closure between Wooyoung and her mum, plus seeing her with her little brother more. I think they could really develop that a lot more and I was really hoping it would be revealed that she was Tae Sumi's daughter As many others have said Junho doesn't seem to have much character development, he's just there to be a pretty face and a love interest (he does have a gorgeous smile though), but I do want more background on him, Like Junho doesn't seem that memorable for a ML, he was always kind, accepting and trusting, but that's only one side of things, I just wanted them to go into more detail about him as you would expect for any ML (he doesn't need to have some traumatic past or anything) but things like his childhood maybe, or at least how he became friends and housemates with Minwoo, why he became a litigation officer etc I mean Attorney Jung had more backstory then he did and he's only a supporting character. My final score for this drama is 7.5. It was decent, had a good plot and interesting cases but it didn't strike me as overwhelmingly amazing as a lot of reviews seem to be saying. I guess I wanted more. If they do make a season 2 I hope we get more relationship development between all the characters especially Wooyoung and her mother and half-brother
I actually agree with the School 2015 one, I didn't even know anyone in the cast except Sungjae back then but I felt that Eunbi had better chemistry with NJH character then with Sungjae's character. the SL was great when they were just friends, but I just couldn't root for him as love interest (and I've been a melody since debut, so you'd think I'd be a bit biased) but nope it didn't work that way for me, I was ML all the way
Heartbeat Broadcasting Accident, it's a short, sweet series staring Zuho, Im Nayoung, Lee Hyunjoo and Jung Mingyu, it's short 10x12minish eps and can I say Zuho visuals? The man was born to kill me (and yes I'm extremely Zuho biased <3 )
i love the webtoon, it's one I never miss each week, but idk if it'd be good considering the director's previous works...this is just cause I've never been able to finish any of their dramas and I don't want a good series to be ruined due to a drama adaptation that doesn't give justice to the source. The only one of her works I finished was Hello Venus and that also not something I'd plan on rewatching. so I'm hestitant cause I guess I just don't vibe with her directing style, but I do hope that it is a good adaptation, and I love SHS so I would still give it a go, if only to see her acting
i usually never complete historical dramas. I usually drop them half way, I mean I've even dropped a historical drama at ep 18 of 20, so me actually finishing this is a testament to the story. I think the acting was very good and the casting was pretty much perfect. Yes the series dragged a bit in the 2nd half but episode 19 really had me gripped and probably the most interesting episode of the entire series. So, yes, I would recommend, as someone who doesn't like historical this one kept me interested to the end

he really must love video games
