Heartbeat Broadcasting Accident, it's a short, sweet series staring Zuho, Im Nayoung, Lee Hyunjoo and Jung Mingyu, it's short 10x12minish eps and can I say Zuho visuals? The man was born to kill me (and yes I'm extremely Zuho biased <3 )
i love the webtoon, it's one I never miss each week, but idk if it'd be good considering the director's previous works...this is just cause I've never been able to finish any of their dramas and I don't want a good series to be ruined due to a drama adaptation that doesn't give justice to the source. The only one of her works I finished was Hello Venus and that also not something I'd plan on rewatching. so I'm hestitant cause I guess I just don't vibe with her directing style, but I do hope that it is a good adaptation, and I love SHS so I would still give it a go, if only to see her acting
i usually never complete historical dramas. I usually drop them half way, I mean I've even dropped a historical drama at ep 18 of 20, so me actually finishing this is a testament to the story. I think the acting was very good and the casting was pretty much perfect. Yes the series dragged a bit in the 2nd half but episode 19 really had me gripped and probably the most interesting episode of the entire series. So, yes, I would recommend, as someone who doesn't like historical this one kept me interested to the end
this actor has a promising future. I feel like I'm seeing a younger Nam Gung Min, so I am really looking forward to his next projects. I hope he gets a lead role soon since his acting in The King's Affection is really good
really enjoyed this show, tbh cop boy annoyed me at times though and also when he was like shot dead I was like 'oh he died, move on' he didn't really grip me as a character. Ji Woo's character was someone I liked, I actually preferred that she was driven by revenge until the very end and ended up killing her father's murderer, whereas in a lot of cop dramas, the culprit only ends up in jail with a life sentence etc it's refreshing to see when revenge is properly carried out, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth a life for a life the star of this show was definitely Choi Mujin, he played his character really well, and omg was he attractive! Like idk he's just so good looking, and I kind of felt that even towards the end he really didn't want to come to terms with Dongheon's betrayal, depicted by the fact that he kept the two shot of them framed for years and years and only at the very end did he finally discard it.
Also I was kinda disappointed that her dad was a double agent inside the organisation, it would've been more interesting if he really was a true member and the cop guy killed him like Jiwoo originally thought, regardless I enjoyed the series, definitely worth staying up all night to binge it
well they already detracted from the webtoon by adding in Lee Si Young's character (which was completely unneccessary) so if the focus is around her, I'm sorry to say that I'm not too interested. It'd be more interesting if they just adapted Shotgun Boy, the prequel to Sweet Home if they're going to change up the cast
Surprised Love 020 has not been noted yet. It is one of Gu Man's best novel, it is a classic. Some people criticize…
yes, it's a really nice college life/gaming/youth drama and it is also free of the usual misunderstandings that most dramas have and it takes ages for the leads to get together and then they have to deal with all this shit and get into fights over misunderstandings and what not.
Love O2O is a prime example of how COMMUNICATION actually does wonders for a relationship. Solid story too, and the novel is great
no one asked but my favourite youth c drama will always be when were young! Next is go go squid
Go Go Squid is adorable <3 and the OST is fire. I remember when it first came out I scoured everywhere for the ost songs and downloaded them onto my phone. They were on repeat for ages. Not really a school drama but it's a super cute youth one. Another one I'd recommend if you liked Go Go Squid is Falling into Your Smile, also centred around the professional esports league. Definitely a must watch
As someone mentioned in the commments below Our Secret is also a good drama. It's super cute and the main couple are really adorable too. From high school to university to marriage, I love how the story unfolds
Another series I'm currently watching is a college life story called Be Your Self. It's centred around 4 roommates from 4 different backgrounds coming together in this beautiful series about how life is. It's got multiple couples, good casting and really good story writing too. It's still airing on the Youku yt channel, it's 24 episodes long with the final two episodes airing tomorrow night for the membership users and up to epsiode 14 (tomorrow will be 15 and 16) for the regular users
Out of the series you recommended I'm eager to try The Love Equation. As someone who loves mystery novels myself as well as an actual forensic science student it sounds right up my alley, so I'm excited to watch it. Thank you for your reccos :)
cute series, but honestly I'd love to see a spin-off series centred around You Keke and Jiang Cheng, I'm so curious about their story, as we didn't see all that much of it. I wonder if there is a side-story or something. This is based on a novel right? What's the title of the novel if anyone knows, I'd love to read it
I actually really enjoyed this show. I was also pretty satisfied with the ending too. Yes the characters had flaws but shit happens irl too, we can choose to run from it or choose to accept even if we know it might not necessarily end in a good way so yeah I liked it :)
You can wish for it on Viki to be added there. I do that often for those that aren't available in Finland. https://support.viki.com/hc/fr/articles/360034633713
yeah it just shows that this title is not available in your region but I shall try that

I would totally recommend
