wtf? Japan has always made good dramas...perhaps it's just you who failed to pick out the 'good' ones all this…
Look.. I'll be brief so we won't keep debating forever. For me tastes are tastes and they can change all the time.
Taste doesn't have to do with quantity though but with what each one of us finds appealing when watching a show.
So I appreciate that you're trying to persuade me to think differently, but it just doesn't work this way.

Oh, I see a lot of answers after mine. Just to be clear about my position, I've watched more Jdramas than Kdramas, and I've been studying Japanese in a class, 4 hours a week for 3 years now, so if I would be biased, it should be in favor of Jdramas. Still, from the Kdramas I've watched so far, the overall mentality of them is closer to mine, and that's something that cannot be classified as right or wrong. I still enjoy Jdramas and things created by Japan, as well as a lot of things of the culture. I'm just stating my pov after some observations so far, which might come to change.

I don't know who you are replying to, but anyway just my two cents.. Jdrama always deliver when comedy and light romance is involved, but when it comes to pure emotions Kdrama win by far. But that's just my opinion.
Scored 8.85 by 352 users when it doesn't finish airing until the end of August? This is just ridiculous.
I don't see why it is wrong rating a show when more than half of it has aired. Of course, not just the ending, but a single episode can make any of us want to change our votes, but that doesn't mean we don't have a general idea in our heads of the grade we would like to give it. There will be many more people watching this show in the years to come and rating it. Even some people here might change their minds as new stuff will keep coming out. The rating in two years may be completely different from what it is now, it is a value that will constantly change, so it shouldn't be such a big deal. Also it is a good way to see if a show goes well or not. I believe we got the extra episodes because of the good ratings in the media.. so I wouldn't be complaining about that.
