I was asking myself the same thing these days. Why am I torturing myself with these airing dramas and not wait until they finish to binge watch. Mostly it’s because I see too many spoilers on social media and I’m too curious to wait. But yes, when I started watching Kdramas 6 months ago I only binge watched and it was the best feeling to know that I don’t have to wait.

As much as I understand her feelings for rejecting him I found it too harsh. Especially after she gave him so much hope. She literally told him I love you and I’ll always be there for you.. I don’t know, but her rejection left a sour taste in my mind. After all those cute heart fluttering moments… 😔

I don’t understand why so many people comment badly on Hu Yi Tian acting and also the character he plays. Not all male heroes have to be the same. His character’s personality is like that. He lost his mom as a young boy, had a father that never loved his wife or children, and was sent to the North for a long time. He never experienced true love and warmth. Even his sister has deep trauma because of their upbringing. Him meeting Hua Zi was the best thing that happened to him. He grew a lot and changed since he met her. He’s more affectionate to her than she is with him. He trusts her and supports her in everything she does. Yan Xi is the perfect man for Hua Zi. I like him a lot. Both the character and the actor.

I don’t know which drama you’re watching but he never killed any innocent people. even if the emperor is a manipulative narcissist, he only killed spies and traitors of the crown. the ones that tortured the Shen brothers where different inquisitors that the emperor brought. Yan Xi actually tried to save them. I also don’t like that he is the Commander of the Security Bureau, but he’s not a dumb executioner. Far from it. Even if he has to follow every command the Emperor gives him, he conducts his own investigations and only punishes those that deserve it.
