WHC1 and LR are well-written shows and the hype and MDL rating is very reasonable. plus, you literally picked two of the most famous and well-rated dramas (across social media, other rating websites etc). by your logic , every person who liked LR is a 'teenager'. The number 1 MDL rated drama is WLGYT which is literally about life's hardships and motherhood. Move to heaven and AOS1 is also within the top 5.
in the top 10 MDL highest rated, only 3 are youth/highschool dramas.
people just choose not to spend their time watching love squares. yes, many people watch for well-written plots and angst but a large majority of drama-watchers watch to decompress and dont want to be watching overly complex, messy or stressful plots (not making any assumptions about this drama as its not out yet - just speaking in general terms). in fact, the most asked question when a drama is recommended is 'is there love triangle/ unnecessary breakup/ loss of interest'. its very fair that people dont want to watch a drama based around their least favourite trope.
whilst idk the age demographic for MDL, your point isnt very good to make the generalisation that "most MDL users should skip this because some youth dramas have high ratings".
wow the rating! I remember how hyped everyone was for this drama. esp after PoJ had aired. Is it really that awful?
they really couldve done something to save it at the end but they ultimately chose to nerf it with the last few eps' terrible nonsensical ending. that being said, i am one of the few that thoroughly enjoyed the first half of the drama.
just me or is there a weird thing for feet throughout this show... like why are there so many closeups of her feet... theres atleast one zoomed in focus on her feet every episode. and just the FL too 😭😭😭
this wrapped ages ago... took 1 year to pass censorship which was passed in Feb. What is taking so long? I doubt it's shelves since it passed and iqiyi has posted clips and bts before. interesting

i feel like after 5 years of separation, getting together a few days after meeting again for the first time is a bit extreme.
