I started loving it after episode 6 so you can still give it a try! :)One of my favorite dramas of 2018
I actually understand you. For a drama that is rated 8.9 (currently), his drama isn't the type that will blow you away quickly like other dramas with similar ratings. What I liked about this drama was Nam Shin III's character, the OTP's bonding, the well portrayed roles and the message of what it means to be human. It's not the type that has a very intricate plot line like Chicago Typewriter, nor is it a lighthearted comedy like What's Wrong With Secretary Kim, which both captured the audience quickly, so it would feel like this drama has no main selling point when you try to compare it with other dramas. But as a standalone, it's very unique and the latest episodes are amazing. It just keeps getting better and better so you should definitely check it out.
So Bong starts their date in heels which turn into sneakers by the time they get to the piano. Don't tell me she…
Sometimes Kdramas cut out certain scenes in order for the episode to end in a cliffhanger, and then put those scenes back into the next episode. Maybe in the next episode we'll get to see what happened to her shoes before the piano scene. I think they went to buy shoes in the behind-the-scenes.
Just started this drama and I find it ironic how the female lead thought Nam Shin was disgusting because he is…
Hmm... If I found out my best friend has been a robot all along I'd seriously freak out and probably feel disturbed too. I guess "disgusting" is too strong of a word (maybe it's a translation issue) but then it would indeed be creepy if someone you were attached to is actually not a human. When I see very realistic robots, I have this weird feeling cuz it feels familiar yet unreal.
This is one of my favorite dramas of all time. Nam Shin III is so cute and kind-hearted that everyone would fall in love with him. And Kang So Bong, although flawed and hateable at the start, does redeem herself and her love for Nam Shin III is beautiful. Human Nam Shin is also one of the most 3-dimensional villains I've ever seen. I can't help but feel sorry for him even though he's a jerk. The plot is also good, I got hooked since the beginning. The plot twists and the cliffhangers often leave me speechless. And everyone is curious about how it will end (there are like 80+ ending theories on the discussion board now). This is one of the dramas I'll miss after it ends, and I really really hope it will have a good ending.
Seo Kang Jun did a great job in this drama ! When the drama was announced I remember netizens bashing him saying…
LOL can't deny the fact that that was a good pun though... Netizens these days are getting pretty creative when bashing people, guess they should be using their IQ on something more constructive instead. Lol. SKJ fighting!
I think they can manage to make NS III stay as he is, a being by his own and also end up with So Bong. Our writers…
Actually I've seen a spoiler about the end somewhere. I don't know the credibility of the information but someone online mentioned that they read a leaked script of the ending. I'm not gonna talk about it here cuz it would be a huge spoiler if it were true. I can only say that I've read through all the theories from you guys and some of them were pretty close.
Actually that's what most people here are thinking. But I wouldn't want that to happen. I think it's actually…
I guess the physical appearance doesn't really matter. They can always change his face to avoid the hassle, and even if they don't they can still live tgt and move from town to town like what happened in another kdrama I watched where the ML stopped aging.
David knows he is greedy and he is the only one that can't get rid of all the million dollars he has spent with…
Since the mom no longer wants to kill roboshin, why don't they just ask her to deactivate the kill switch somehow? It feels like the writer is leaving the kill switch there on purpose just for the sake of destroying NS3 with it in the end.
I'm pretty sure they switched while Nam Shin III was getting the napkins, because during the piano scene we saw…
They were wearing a different shirt under the coat. They switched when NS3 went to get napkins cuz we can see that his shirt changed after he came back (NS3's shirt has patterns while NS's doesn't).
I still feel very insecure about the fact that the kill switch is at halaboji's. Why the heck did David give it to him? I know they're cooperating but it's not like halaboji truly cares about the robot's wellbeing. That thing is way too dangerous to be kept by someone who isn't on NS3's side, not to mention the possibility of NS stealing it.
But NamShin3 already had feelings -> when he saw human Nam Shin he dropped flowers, so I guess he was surprised??…
I guess he was programmed to react like a human being. In normal circumstances a human would look surprised when they see sth like that so he should also look surprised. He doesn't actually "feel" those emotions even if he expresses them.
I just thought of the best possible ending. Since it's highly unlikely for Nam Sin III to end up with So Bong,…
Actually that's what most people here are thinking. But I wouldn't want that to happen. I think it's actually possible for NS3 and SB to end up tgt even though he's a robot. They don't need to care about what other people think and they don't need to have kids.
On the contrary, not every drama needs to have a deep plot. Look at dramas like Waikiki. Sometimes SoL comedy…
Well the truth is drama ratings are plotted against each other. There are rankings, point systems that are meant for comparison. Dramas and movies have different genres but they often compete for the same awards. There has to be a general standard of measure when it comes to quality. Not to mention WWWSC actually does have a plot, meaning that they are still trying to engage the audience in some way using their plot, so it makes perfect sense for some people to be unsatisfied with the plot. You can like it and think that it deserves the high rating, but I just don't think the same way. To each their own :)
