awww. this is a very great adaptation. The scenes weren't cramped to fit in just two hours unlike other live actions. Such a sweet story where everything I want is happening haha! It's alright if you havent read the manga. You will still be able to feel it. The scenes are whole, I mean, they are connected to each other not just some different scenes put together which is for me, a bad habit of some japanese live actions.
If you try to put as much manga scenes as possible in a two-hour movie, it would definitely be cramped. I liked that this movie focused on one arc then combined it with the last arc (they left out a lot of scenes/arc from the manga but it's one of the reasons i liked this movie). It will make more sense to those who havent read the manga yet. It's like a stand alone movie, with or without the manga, you will still like it!
If you want to see and read more ItoXShimada scenes, then read the manga! hehe.

btw, Ikuta Toma and Hirose Suzu has a 14-year age gap and that struck me hard! Awesome! Sugoi! XD

This is one of the movies which will make you feel like you have to live to the fullest so that you wouldn't regret anything in the end. It's somewhat the same in "Orange" (Japanese manga/anime/drama series) xD. The characters are great, the story is simple and it will teach you how guilt can ruin a life, so don't do something that will result with you feeling guilty about it.
Every moment of youth should be cherished and do impulsive things, be free, don't let anyone stop you from what you want. Another story with a lot of moral lessons. I cried btw haha.
Just watch it, who doesnt want to watch Lin Austin. So adorable.

OK OK. First of all, almost everyone say that Chinese dramas are really draggy. Yes, I agree. And this drama in not an exception. it has 48 episodes when the writers could have ended this with flying colors in just 30-35 episodes. It is predictable and there are a lot of unnecessary dramas and everything but i still cried for 3 episodes AHAHA.
I can understand some of the characters actions, like the reason behind why they're doing what they are doing but sometimes there are just decisions that irritates me. There are a lot of other options to do but a character chooses the most ridiculous choice just because the writers/director told so. I don't like something like that. Like, in a story the reader/watcher should be convinced that there really is no other choice that's why the character will be forced to do something. If it's like that then the reader wouldn't feel like the character is so stupid and there will be less loop holes. There are a few stupid decisions in this drama haha but the reason i continued watching is because of Deng Lun haha! Kidding aside i continued watching maybe because I was watching while it's ongoing and I didn't binge watch. If i did then I would definitely get bored or sumthing. I would probably feel the draggy-ness more. So, one advice, DON'T BINGE WATCH!.
3 episodes a day is enough haha. Do this and you'll enjoy this drama!

If it wasn't for Deng Lun and Reba this would probably be the kind of drama i'll forget after watching it but yeah. I don't think I will 'cuz it's Deng Lun and Reba. AHAHHA

Ive finished this last week and it was AWESOOOOOME! Hands Down! A great series! The length is perfect. The story is perfect. The music is perfect. Yamaken and Mackenyu is just perfect. And dont forget! Kadowaki Mugi too! I love how cute she is!
Yer missing half yer life if you havent watched this yet, I tell you. And you wouldnt even have to watch for so long! It's just ten episodes with 45 min each except the first episode with an hour and 15 mins or so. Dont forget to watch Todome no Parallel episode 10 too. It's a 17-minute extra, 1year after the todome no kiss finale. :)

I just liked the length, it's like a mini series for me. And that the story is unique and it did not divert from the original plot for the sake of romance.. I think the romance part here is just 20% which felt like 50% haha. You know those series which doesnt focus much on romance but you will still have a strong ship for the protagonists just because of their chemistry and the story? This is one of those.
The thrill, comedy and romance is balanced well! actually the whole series is for the character development of Otaro (Yamaken) which makes it great! the ending is great too even if you havent watched todome no parallel ep10, it's stil great on its own.
MUST WATCH. VERY ENJOYABLE. Didnt expect I'll be addicted to a short series haha.

ok. im giving this a whole 10 at everything ahhaha.
I was just so addicted. Im writing this review a month after i watched it and im still addicted. This is unusual xD im supposed to move on after two weeks. So now i'm trying to move on with another drama, Bromance (T-Drama), and it's working! it's so great.
I just have one concern in this drama, they focused more on the high school life taking more than half of the drama and they rushed things in the college life and getting back together episodes but even though it's like that, it also made me value their 4 year-relationship more. AHAHA sorry fer that.
The characters are just the best! I dont really think that anyone can play these roles better than Hu Yi tian baby and boss Shen Yue ahaha. Sun ning and Wang Zi wei and Gao Zhi ting too. The best gang ever!
The music was the best too. well.. i memorized them now. That was a great achievement since it's Chinese and it's not even my second language.
Im even reading the novel now, haha. Someone translates it in english! Thank you for that. You see,.. i dont usually like the tv/movie version of novels but this time it's different. The director and writers of this drama.. thumbs up! They did a great job for me to like the drama version better haha but since the novel hasnt been translated in whole, as of this day, the latest is in chapter 15 and there are 50 chapters + 27 side stories!, well it's too early to say that i like the drama better but we'll see. One thing's for sure, this drama is the BEST!
This is the best so please don't watch. I'm selfish when it comes to great dramas. haha dont want it to be mainstream. Please don't watch. xD
