Are you new to thai BL series? Just to be clear, we are talking about New as the director right? He has had some…
I mean for me he’s made some of my favorites, until we meet again/love by chance/ perfect 10 liners/ a boss and a babe/ fourever- as far as Thai BLs go in general he has a rating of 7.5 > which is safe enough a couple that go above a 8! So not too bad overall?
your comment is basically saying that criminal is right don't sugarcoat your words
nobody died and made anyone judges here -- I know as much truth as you do :) so let's not misinterpret anything here , plus I literally said "no one is right and that includes the actor"
the first half of the show was super strong! the second half did feel a bit too dramatic and a bit loop-holy like…
And having lived in china, I have seen how extreme people are with body inclusivity. Literally all my friends spend more time editing their pictures to slim them down than they would’ve even spent sight seeing, and they are GORGEOUS PEOPLE! LITERALLY GORGEOUS !! Even zhaojinmai on shine on me promotions had lost a ton of weight :(
the first half of the show was super strong! the second half did feel a bit too dramatic and a bit loop-holy like it made more emotional sense than logical but it's oaky. still was good enough! the male lead was super refreshing to watch and for one --- he wasn't malnourished skinny -- he was man! and he wasn't drowning in clothes that are bigger than oversized! nor was his make up over the top all the time! I really wish chinese entertainment agencies let their actors have some flesh on their bones like they're 180cm and then 65kg --- just let folks eat!!! that's one thing that the kdrama industry is a bit more tolerant of although they're becoming increasingly body conscious too
the mom was lowkey not my favourite--- while I do understand her as a woman wanting to give her child a better future-- I feel like she literally went and spent 20 years with her husband's murderer!! like dude wasn't even punished for his crimes!!! I felt like the show took that part lightly --- maybe they could've let it just stay as a suicide if they weren't gonna cover it up! the sstory also covers up the fact that she was barely present for her child who literally lost his dad to a suicide and went thru all that trauma ---- like ugh just cannot imagine as a mother being able to do that!!
OMG like the drama was good but I really wanted a super cool scene where Xiao yi would be called out by his real name and would walk the ramp for the completion of the project or something like that --- I really felt like his name was a big part of the story and represented his dad's name being cleared as well ---- ahhhh I really wish that was the ending!!! would've been a goosebumpy scene!!
felt like the first half was strong and the middle when they started dating kinda felt a bit too tropeyy and I think I liked how the beginning didn't involve the step-dad, since he stepped in, kinda killed the vibe for a bit...
you cannot really cling on to a scandal, when someone has passed away and the family did nothing to protect their child when they were alive nor did they do something during the passing instead they chose to come out of it when somebody was at the peak of their career --- im not saying anyone's in the right here -- but you really. cannot. speak . for those who have passed. especially if it wasn't a case of abuse.
