i need a show like this again!! ngl the first time i watched it , was right after when i had binged so many posts of north korea and what actually goes on there and story of frank ottoman etc , so i was not so liking it but watched it after a while and i loved this, it feels soo good knowing the leads are together irl too which is a rare thing , a funny lighthearted , cute romcom , perfect when you just need to stay in touch with kdramas !

this comment screams you just half assed it , the reason they showed her son feeling ignored was a mirror that even parents cant be perfect , they are human themselves , living that life for the first time , he was their son they cared a lot but failed to express it with actions and this is what hurt him leading him to think they never cared , if they didnt why would his father would buy a land with no profits? why would he buy him a mercedes if he himself wore one clothe throughout the year? gwan sik was made for ae sun and so did ae sun , ae sun was that naive , bubbly girl suddenly given resposiblities , gwan sik was more mature than her giving her the shield , he was truly happy with her , that man loved his wife to death and so did she there is no questioning in it , this is the most realistic story of love even when you're empty handed without a roof.

had ae sun left earlier that man would have instantly died and im serious , you can physically feel his intense love he had for her and tbh im happy that he left first bcs ae sun can totally survive but that guy would become a corpse if it happened. and tbh this is how most asian families are , i could totally relate this story to my grandparents and parents , for fathers their only aim becomes to provide for their family to the point other materialistic things seems nothing to them,it becomes their dream.
