i wont defend his behaviour till ep 6 but he does get better after that, and that imagination is just for comedic relief honestly. i found it quite funny but i guess that can be distasteful to people
it is not him imagining her personality but a writing choice to make the scene comical. he is overreacting or…
he’s not an introvert, it’s just that the actor is making him seem like one. he is supposed to be reserved and a dependable person but with good social skills
eps:1. This dude man is he going to be an annoying second lead here too
i hope he gets rejected asap and backs off so that we can see some snippets of his personal growth. i really like him and i dont wanna end up hating him🤣
hu yitian isn’t bad looking, but i do think he looks a bit too mature to convincingly play a high school student.…
lmaoo😆😆the only actors who caught my eye here are LWM and the fls brother. TXW is the MVP though, she's sooo expressive that everyone looks wooden in comparison

i havent seen him in anything else except BOP which i dropped so i cant tell how his acting has been in other shows but i find his acting okay here, not extraordinary but passable. i like his looks tho, he's a total eye candy😆
I think a lot of the backlash for ml has more to do with Hu Yitian than the character itself. If the same role…
hu yitian isn’t bad looking, but i do think he looks a bit too mature to convincingly play a high school student. his acting also feels more restrained and stiff compared to the rest of the cast, at least to me. and i don’t think this is a double standard either. wu jinyan received the exact same criticism for playing a teenager in the double, and she’s being criticized again now for looking too old for her role in her latest drama. it isn’t really about gender the way some of y’all make it out to be.
as for his character, i think it’s simply a matter of different perspectives, so i’m happy to agree to disagree. everyone has their own standards when it comes to friendships and relationships, so it’s not surprising that the audience is split on him. honestly, it would be pretty boring if everyone interpreted the characters the same way. i actually enjoy these discussions because it’s interesting to see how differently people view the same story, as long as everyone respects that others can have different opinions
am i crazy or do tian xiwei and zhou yiran look kinda similar when they smile. i keep noticing their dimples appear in almost the same place when they smile, its such a specific detail to have in common
