I actually heard something really interesting today. Apparently these new "laws" are actually guidelines set by the government. So basically, the production companies themselves are in charge of implementing them to any degree that they see fit. This means no one knows how this might actually look like in practice. I'm even less worried since I heard this.

I think they are specifically targeting heavy make-up. This might be the end of those cool make up campaigns by male artists. Yes, it's haters spreading rumors about BL shows that are getting spread by scared fans. So far, the regulators are SPECIFICALLY targeting idols and singers, like boybands. It's not about bl or gay people or anything like that.
