Stayed for Mackenyu! Other than that the dialogues and plot was awful. One character got redeemed even after all the evil things that was done.

Not bad. Pretty good for a webdrama. Felt like I was watching a movie instead of a webdrama. Most questions were answered and everything was resolved. I just kind of wish the romance had a little more oomph factor to it. The FL was very expressive with her facial expressions. She did a great job!

That is what I am saying! He's a serial cheater! Better to know now then later when he is actually officially married because people be switching sides like crazy if this was a story of him being a serial cheater as a married man. He was silent and never responded back to her about the recordings because he knew it was the truth. Imagine if he actually did respond back - things could get ugly and turn messy, I'm pretty sure she has more dirt on him. Oh well, at least the c-fans are supporting her.

I don't think anyone else knows about red hand except for ML and granny, but now FL knows too. The red hand is exclusive for ML only because his guilt was so deep that when he reincarnated, he subconsciously remembers the hand, but without knowing the meaning behind the red hand - he sees it as a haunting feeling that suffocates him. ML's line was cursed so any male descendants were supposed to die (mostly through sickness, but it could be any kind of disease) so that the line dies out, but fortunately his grandfather survived old age and his father became healthy.

He saw a glimpse of it on ep 36, had a question about it on ep 37, and knows all about the truth on ep 38.

😉 I didn't even finish this drama. Dropped it because I felt sad for Deng Wei's character.

That I understood, but she was on her deathbed so I had hoped that with her last moments with him, even if she couldn't truly be herself again, she could have thanked him for all those years that he accompanied her and genuinely smiled at him. She didn't even need to tell him that she loved him because no matter what, he will always love her. I do want to see them paired up again though.

😭 I thought Sebrina was going to get paired up with Ryan, but looks like they aren't from the trailer. Sighs, I'm sad.

Chinese Paladin 5 was my favorite! Don't get me wrong - Chinese Paladin 1 is and will always still be a classic, and Chinese Paladin 3 had a strong ensemble cast, but I liked Chinese Paladin 5 for its simplicity, less angst in comparison to the other two, and even Nuwa's descendant and the demons were a bit more appreciated.
