True, but then you also said "Hwal confirmed" meaning we never got to see Dan Sol's side of the story; everything…
π Yeah, there were too many questions yet unanswered and many things questionable. They had 2 writers for this drama, but they weren't able to really flesh out the story, made sure that there were no loopholes, and tie up any loose ends before we're already reaching the end. Hwal didn't need to have a wife or kid. I think his adopted father would be enough to replace the death of his wife and kid and trigger his revenge. But yes, adopting a son would have been fine too. Also, they could have even made use of a 2nd couple if they didn't have any more content to go off of instead of dragging everyone through this 1000 year backstory that we still don't even know yet! I would have love a Dan Sol and Eul Tae couple so he can get a redemption arc π€£ wishful thinking.

π I like to poke at the writing like you do too! I would have prefered that Hwal was never married to Gong Seung Yun's Dan Sol character so the writer can solely focus on the real OTP. I do believe they did love each other at a certain point although it may not be that kind of passionate undying love, but another form of love.
I love The ML β¦..donβt know exactly what is that all fuss Over the SMLβ¦.he is so lackluster in my eyes ,…
I loved the ML too! SML wasn't so bad, to me he already lost when he went late to the school party. You always gotta jump at the chance when you get it. They both have their own handsomeness, SML appeared more cute and friendly while ML was clean cut, cold, and exude hotness π.

Thanks, it's okay, really. Although the situations are different but it has similarity, and I used my story as a comparison to say that even the person who loves you the most can hurt you with words. Another issue, I'm not trying to say that they should get back with each other but that I understood why Dan Sol acted the way she did. I'm pretty sure she didn't have it easy too, but then we were never shown her side of the story. There's always 2 sides to a story, so for their relationship to have a closure, we need to understand her side of the story and have her properly tell Hwal to move on and that she never hated him and forgave him. For viewers, we were able to understand why Hwal acted like that towards Sang Un because we were able to see it from his POV. If Hwal gets a pass then why not Dan Sol? Their situation is similar to each other; Dan Sol blamed Hwal for bringing the curse to their baby and Hwal blamed Sang Un for his family's death.
The fight scene between Hawl and Dan Sol 600 years ago was visually stunning. Because of the scene, many felt…
True, but then you also said "Hwal confirmed" meaning we never got to see Dan Sol's side of the story; everything was always in Hwal's pov. If the writer had shown why then we wouldn't be having this debate and honestly, I felt like the writers were still figuring out their main background story and linking the characters. That scene you talked about I was more shocked by the fact that she was his wife because I'm like she's not the FL?...Also, Dan Sol's not only distraught but she was grieving by going through the stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Most of the time and truly people should, you need a therapist to help you overcome this grief. She did carry that baby in her stomach for a good few months, created a bond, and then having to learn that it's a stillborn upon birth definitely shocked her so much that she delusionally believe the baby was still alive. In comparison to Dan Sol, Hwal did not carry that baby for a few months nor have that kind of bond with it. The most impact scene to me was when his wife and son were brutally killed because he took them there and failed to protect them. And yes, people can say hurtful thing to one another and there is no exception between spouses. Even my own birth mom got angry once and spouted words to me like, "Why were you born?"; I was hurt by her words and angry for days, but then I knew deep down that she loved me. Now, my question is if you were able to catch that one line that Dan Sol said to Hwal then what about the assault and words that Hwal used to say to Sang Un?.....
I am getting annoyed too. Bulgasal and LJW is my fav but it should have been wrapped in 10 or 12 episodes. They…
Happy watching to you! I wish I can blindly experience everything all over again. π I only liked them as a whole when they were working with each other and getting the cases solved. Other than that, please don't put them in the same room, I can't stand the arguments and name pointing lol. The first episode definitely hooked me in and voice 1 will always be the one that brought me into the world of thrillers, but voice 2 is also loved. I haven't completely finished voice 3 because I need netflix to pick it up π.

You should watch season 2! I was iffy too, but I wasn't the biggest fan of jang hyuk's character although I liked the actor. I thought the ml's character in season 2 was so much better and had a better relationship development with the fl which was why a lot of people liked it. Although, I did like the villian in season 1 better in comparison to season 2.
I'm annoyed at some illogical plot points such as ,, 1-The shaman who took with her the most vulnerable assets…
You should welcome all characters to the stupid/doormat club. I believe they all should be relatable and/or have something to confess lol. And, tell them to invite the writers to the discuss session.
If I sum up, correct me if I am wrong-Hwal and SangUn are original bulgasals-Hwal and SnagUn are lovers-Hwal as…
Eul tae thought the twin sister did something, but I think he can't kill the soul because the soul was originally his. His dark hole was cursed by Hwal and the solution to fixing it was to trade back his bulgasal immortality, not by destroying it.
What does the prophecy means ???"A demon comes from inside a black hole, a demon who grew up eating its father's…
I think the first sentence was towards eul tae because he was made a demon by having his soul taken from him leaving a black hole marking as a remembrance, the second sentence was definitely towards hwal as he gave eul tae the dark hole and was supposed to come back and claim it, the third sentence could be eul tae but then he doesn't want his soul or he probably doesn't know he's supposed to suck it back?....lol
My theory is that when Hwal turned Ok Eul Tae into a Bulgasal 1000 years ago, what was meant to happen was that…
That's what I caught too! Eul Tae was supposed to originally swap back his place with Hwal, but he definitely got greedy along the way. Also, I noticed that Hwal cares a lot about the word "family" and goes on a rampage when the people he loves gets hurt and just want to kill kill kill. He smiled when he saw Sang Un so he probably thinks the village had something to do with her missing or he psychotically just went after them because she left him, but he was definitely mad and despised her for something along the line of her betraying him and leaving him to die.
