Thanks for your point of view! I haven’t read the manga and don’t plan to, so I’m only basing my thoughts on what’s shown in the drama. If Yanase easily sleeps and kisses with strangers (no offense meant) then that does make kind of sense why he would kiss Kaneda out of nowhere like that when the guy sorta confessed to being intrigued by him (I mean, I can totally see that being an invite if that’s what Yanase is used to doing with other people), because otherwise I don’t think that people drunk kiss others just for the sake of doing it unless there are feelings involved. Which is why Yanase’s actions confuses me as a viewer because there’s nothing shown yet in the show of him falling in love or even romantically liking Kaneda. However, if that’s him trying to live up to the worship that Kaneda has for him, then that might make more sense to me but then, as you said, that’s not clearly explained in the show in that case. Anyhow, I’m excited for the next episodes!!

So when did Yanase start liking Kaneda? Him being sorta nervous etc. came out of nowhere… I mean, as a viewer I expect them to fall in love but it went awfully quick for Yanase 🤔 no hate, I adore this show but that’s the only thing doesn’t mesh well with me.

Lol I actually thought that too, was low key expecting them to cut to a scene at back of the bar.

The only thing that made me pause and wonder was how did Togawa get back into Nozue’s apartment - or maybe he hadn’t left at all? That irked me more than the kiss. With that said, it’s doesn’t ruin the drama for me, I still love it :)

I lol:ed at the “old shoe” comment but honestly I don’t think it’s too unrealistic, it’s surely a bit exaggerated but I’ve met people at work in their mid-twenties that can’t navigate their outlook mail nor any generic office applications, not to mention teams/zoom meetings. What I was a little meh about was however the gender essentialism, the whole “girls have it more fun, they just eat cake and laugh”. That made me feel things for some reason, I don’t usually care for such things in dramas since it’s just fiction but I dunno… that didn’t sit well with me.

The notion of Vegas’ actions aren’t tame as such, but I would’ve liked a little more… gore? The show does a great job with toeing the line with emotional sex scenes but the bloody stuff is being handled with kiddy gloves . No offense to anyone, just what I found myself thinking while watching the latest 2 eps.

So... I was low key expecting VP being more rough? It was pretty tame imho. But who am I to judge? *shrugs*

True, felt like I read too much into things in the last episode which made the show down seem kinda flat. Lol and what was even Porsches’s plan by going with Vegas? No one knows….

Yeah, I kinda hoped for a master plan worthy of mafia but he was essentially bluffing until Pete got the evidence. Still happy he wasn’t a complete tool but it could’ve been executed better.
